When Christian starts ripping up the turf in Argentina for England will they be asking 'If only.....?' down under?

Best we didn't count our chickens just yet Trev. They always say that there's a giant leap from league to international level.

He looks an excellent, exciting prospect and I'm delighted for him. Much more deserved than that fans' vote version a couple of weeks ago.

But leave out the "When Christian starts ripping up the turf" hyperbole. That can wait until he's proven himself - especially against top teams.

Well he had a fantastic start last week & now he has been called up!

I honestly believe he should have gone in the first place & will be a massive asset whoever he plays for.
