v2 interviews Tara
TNA's Tara visited the UK this weekend, meeting fans attending Collectormania19 at the MK Bowl in Milton Keynes. V2 sent Pete Cresswell along to find out more.
Audio of Pete's interview with Tara is here http://v2journal.com/17/post/2013/05/tna-tara-interview.html
While braving the hubbub that was the MK Bowl on Saturday I had the
opportunity to have a few words with Lisa Marie Varon, aka Tara at TNA, and formerly Victoria in WWE. In between photo ops/autographs with fans dressed as Klingons (I kid you not) we managed to cover off a few pieces on Lisa Marie's life outside wrestling, along with her opinions on the Knockout division, and her favourite partners/opponents over the years.
We also touched on the dreaded "R" word ("wrestlers never really retire"), and get a bit of insight into some of Lisa Marie's personal highlights in the business, and discuss her brush with comedy at the end of her run in WWE.

Re: v2 interviews Tara
I was also hoping to interview Doug Williams there, but he was doing signings only as he was time-limited, having to wrestle at an indy event in the evening. I was part of a general chat he had with all the journos where he reckoned he's learning an awful lot about the production side of the business at OVW - things like positioning of cameras even.
Lita was also there signing, and one of the other journos asked her for a few questions, but she said no as she's "not got anything to promote at the moment".
Sadly for Hero I couldn't find the £30 in my wallet for a signed pic of Sarah Louise Coleman . And even the press pass (thanks TNA) didn't stop me from being told off when I tried to sneak my own pic.
Queues to get near the likes of Gillian Anderson, Geoff Hurst & Joe Calzaghe were mental too.

I was there, it was insanely busy - Victoria / Tara was very nice indeed. I met Lita too, she was nice but very quiet

Really good interview Pete, cheers for asking my questions too! I was surprised at her answer to the comedy question, I'd assumed it would have been all wwe's idea.
