Well done Castres
20 year after, the Brennus is back to Castres.
Rory Kockott MOTM. Tales showing Wilkinson how to score drop goals. Dominated the rucks and line outs while showing great heart in defense. Loads of knock-ons by Toulon but Delon Armitage and bastareaud both had good performance.
Final score 19-14

Re: Well done Castres
Unbelievable defensive effort in the second half from Castres. Looked like Wilko was about to kick Toulon back into the lead when the men from the med were rocked by two brilliant drops from Tales. He was also tackling anything that moved all night.
Kockott was world class, how the Boks let him slip through the international net I'll never know.
A brilliant way for les duex laurents to sign off from Castres. Outstanding and fitting end to a great Top 14 this year. I hope these guys ( Dulin, Tales, Sampson etc.) have something left in the tank for the AB's in the coming weeks.

Woah. Kockott's just doubled his asking price. His try was a beauty.
And Richie Gray has joined the Top 14 champions for 3 years. Hopefully he'll get a bit more respect for that decision now.

Allez C.O.!!!
Very pleased for them. If anyone draws them in the HC then go to Castres - it's a lovely town.

Re: Well done Castres
Brilliant!
So please for Pedrie Wannenberg.
When the draw was made for HEC this season I thought our group wasn't too bad.
Ulster .........Topped the Rabo league and losing finalists
Glasgow......3rd in Rabo. Very very nearly turned over the eventual winners in the semi.
Saints.......Beaten finalists in AP
Castres.......Winners of Top 14
Looks a bit different now!
