It's therapeutic to do this, honestly. And much less expensive or damaging than narcotics.

Re: What I See When I Close My Eyes
HM, sorry for today, you must be gutted.
Djokovic is a great champion, and I think on the whole you should be really proud of how he played (apart from the third set which was a bit strange).
Today I think there were three winners; Nadal, Djokovic, and tennis.
For the first time I was pleased to see both players really try and play more aggressive than usual, certainly more then AO 2012. Nadal hit 61 winners to 44 UEs, while Djokovic hit 54 winners. Fantastic match.
Djokovic was very good, I think he is getting closer, and I definitely believe he will win the French Open soon.

I feel for you, but as a Federer fan he has well and truly earnt my respect. He is a class act, all time great. No one has ever taken it to Nadal like Novak and I find it incredible to watch even when he loses. He has Nadal truly worried. I think he will get more respect when he hangs up his racket but at the moment he is still slightly caught up in the Federer Nadal hysteria.

Re: What I See When I Close My Eyes
Look at it this way
Djokovic has maybe a 30% chance of winning the FO next year.
He has many more years to have chances.
Overall, therefore, there has to be a >50% chance he will win it.
He wasn't even at his best this year and nearly did it

HB, for me this year Djokovic has probably been the best I've seen him at FO.

Yeah, but he has never played his best there. I think his best at the FO is yet to come.

Fair enough, as I said- I would not be surprised if he won FO soon.

Re: What I See When I Close My Eyes
Yeah, Murdoch, I can't get that play out of my mind. But I guess that is what I like about Novak that he can hit the highest of high notes and still hit the lowest of the lows. But when you put the whole package together he is pretty damn consistently good to great.
That being said it happened, very kind comments by the neutrals on this thread and others so it is appreciated Red, BB, Henman Bill, and CAS. But really I fail to see the silver lining in any of it. It would have been better if he lost more lopsided and didn't lose this way. Either way it happened. In the long run he will be back and stronger, but in the short run this will be a very painful loss. Hopefully, he keeps his mind on the task on hand the biggest tournament in the world, Wimbeldon.
