How I'd turn Orton heel and push Bryan further this Sunday.
There is a lot of talk about one these turning heel this Sunday and it has to be Orton. How I'd do it is as follows...
Towards the end of the match I'd have a ref bump, Bryan puts Reigns in the no lock (I think it's very important it's Reigns). Bryan is screaming for Reigns to tap and eventually he does. Bryan realises this and tries to get the ref back in the action and there is a slight altercation between Orton and Bryan. Orton RKO's Bryan and Reigns barely rolls over as the ref wakes up and gets the pin.
Bryan can claim he is the tag team champions and he will look uber strong in making Roman tap. I'd have Bryan v Orton at MitB in a number 1 contenders match with Bryan making Orton tap and going on to face Cena at Summerslam for the title.
What would you go with?

Im not overly fussed if Orton turns, he's dull as dishwasher as a heel and a face but he wrestles better as a face, still if I'm given the choice between turning Orton or Bryan, Orton everyday and twice on Sundays.

Yeah, I think it's set up for one to turn, and of the two Orton has to be the one, he's desperate to turn heel, his whole aura and character suits being a heel and Bryan is too over as a face to ruin it.
I think Orton has lost it though to be honest, I haven't found him entertaining for about 4 years, he's been phoning it in since then. He was mildly entertaining during his feud with Christian, but even that was 2 years ago now.

Urgh, that Christian feud. Nearly stopped me watching wrestling again.
I have really enjoyed him since that match with Sheamus, seemed to kick him into gear a bit. His recent work in this storyline has been brilliant, I think he suits the aloof, dangerous face rather than the evil, sneering heel.
But 100% agree, if one is to turn then its got to be Orton, and at least in the grand scheme it means he wrestles different opponents and could have some bigger name feuds.

Orton vs Christian was a class feud IMO and was the best thing about Smackdown for a long time. There matches were always superb as well.
But as i said in a previous topic, im really scared there going to turn Bryan heel

It wont work turning Daniel Bryan heel. He will come out with the no chants and the audience will chant yes even louder. His pops will remain the same so it will just fall flat. I doubt anyone is turning at Payback but if someone does then it will be Randy Orton.

I still think Orton has a lot to offer the business and can be more than relevant. Whatever ‘it’ is, Randy Orton definitely has it.
If Orton is to turn it will have to be something different to your average heel turn. For instance he can’t simply RKO Bryan after the match and look all mean, he done that this week on Smackdown but it didn’t turn him heel. Orton possesses heel traits even when he’s playing the face, he can RKO fellow faces and get away with it because he’s always walked to the beat of his own drum. I suppose he’s the closest thing to a tweener right now in the WWE so for me to turn him heel they will really have to present it to the audience as an obvious heel turn. I’d do it one of 2 ways –
1) As much as I like The Shield, dare I say after 6 months I feel they need freshening up a bit before the audience lose interest, they need a new dynamic to make them even stronger. Step forward Randy Orton. I’d have Orton RKO Bryan during the match to hand The Shield the win. Orton just stands there staring at The Shield and begins a smile. Rollins hops out of the ring and grabs a ‘Believe in the Shield’ sign from a fan. He hands it to Orton who holds it up high and raises his hands with the other members of The Shield. The resulting promo’s involve Orton talking about wanting to help bring justice to the WWE etc. I’d eventually have him win the WHC before starting an Evolution-esque angle where Roman Reigns becomes No1 contender and eventually turns face ala Batista.
2) I’d have Bryan taking a beating for the whole match but is unable to tag in Orton. Orton is desperate for the tag but The Shield keep dragging Bryan over to their corner to further the beatdown. Eventually Bryan gains momentum and there is an opportunity to tag Orton but Bryan chooses to fight alone. Orton does his nut on the apron and Bryan ends up getting beaten down again. Eventually Bryan is able to crawl over and Orton is leaning in for the tag but just as Bryan is set to make the hot tag Orton drops from the apron and walks up the aisle leaving Bryan on his own allowing The Shield the easy win. Orton walks up the aisle without wrestling in the match shouting at the fans and goes behind the curtain. Later that night for the Chris Jericho v CM Punk match, Jericho awaits Punk but Heyman comes out. Heyman taunts the Chicago crowd and mocks them for pandering to Punk but he isnt going to be here tonight and he played them all along. Heyman says he saw an opportunity tonight and acted on it, he says he has just finished negotiating with another brand new client, he introduces the newest Paul Heyman guy – Randy Orton! Orton beats Jericho and delivers the punt kick after the match which would write Jericho off TV for a while. Orton isnt the greatest talker so having Heyman as a mouthpiece works for me. It also opens avenues for a face Punk vs heel Orton.
Anyway. Thoughts?

The second option is better, I don't think anyone else needs to join The Shield...they are fine as they are.
Randy definitely needs to turn heel......he will be thrilled when it happens, I know he hates being 'good' - it doesn't suit him anyway.

I agree Orton v Christian was a good feud, its good having a storyline lasting more than one month.
Bryan should stay Face he is getting over again on his own. just have him keep putting on good matches.
Orton just needs to go back to being self centred and selfish. doing things cause he wants to. Hell bring back the punt, have him win matches dirty.
Its a bit like Wilkinsons wail, he can play that tweener role where he do heel things but doesnt have to be a heel.

Either option would be class, but as this is the WWE it will never happen.
