WWE Payback predictions?

WWE's latest ppv extravaganza is just around the corner and I for one cannot wait!

What do you guys reckon will go down at the showcase of the immortals?? Any shocking heel turns?? Title changes?? Will punk make an appearance??? Will Christian and IRS make their long awaited returns???

I agree with all of the above except I expect AJ to win and have no idea whats gonna happen with Jericho, Shot's Big Show prediction seems depressingly accurate

I just got the feeling AJ was put over so strong on the last Raw, I can't see her winning just yet, maybe in a re-match

I'm in denial about the idea of Show replacing Punk

I think the ambiance of Curtis Axel's beard makes him a certainty for the IC title

I'm contemplating buying it mostly so I can see the reaction that punk gets on his return in his hometown. The thing I'm worried about are the rumours of him no showing? How likely is it to be true?

I won't be buying, I'll buy wrestlemania and rumble but not this one. It's an alright card but nowt special

I'd imagine it would kick off time if punk doesn't show up so at best I think he will appear on the jumbotron and flash his genitals

See this is what I mean about booking them into a corner. 

Really it's too early for Punk to return, he's supposed to be resting, the impact of his absence hasn't been felt in storyline terms, he looked really beat up and I don't think he's had enough time to properly recover. 

In addition to that, his lack of appearances on TV but his announced return have created an odd atmosphere. It's unclear whether we're supposed to be happy with his return or not, Heyman is a very slimy character while Jericho is the fun-loving face, but Punk will be returning after a while out and in Chicago so will definitely get a face reaction, and Jericho was a strong heel the last time they feuded, just over a year ago.

If Punk does return, they've ruined what could be an excellent moment by not announcing his return and having the place explode and bring him back as a face immediately. 

If he doesn't return then I've advertised him to come back without delivering which just looks cheap and doesn't do anything for anybody, if he returns but walks away they've kept him as a heel without a good reason and will still have to do a proper return at some point.

It's been booked horribly, the interactions between Jericho and Heyman have been awkward at best and it's pretty clear that WWE don't have a clue what they want right now.

I wont put it down till I know what happens. The heel heat if he plays the Chicago crowd could be brilliant.

I agree with everything apart from Kaitlyn and AJ...I can see AJ getting the title...everything else seems spot on.

I meant my comment as that i don't think he'll turn face yet and the only way to keep him heel is no showing and rejecting his home crowd....

That could also damage the superb home town reception from Punk long term.

I also think he's worth more to WWE as a face right now than he is as a heel. I think if Orton turns heel, you can have a main event that looks like:

Faces: John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus

Heels: Randy Orton, Ryback, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler

Which I think is pretty decent for the next 6 months.
