South Africa v Samoa
Big game of the day about to start
http://www.skysports.com/rugbyunion/match_preview/0,,11069_60572_1,00.html
Can't see them beating South Africa but it'll be really interesting to see how Samoa do with same rest period and a few games behind them.

Samoa again are missing a couple of players though. No Fotuali and their best second row Tekori has been missing all tornament.

Yeah, a few others missing as well. Shame really.
After the shock SA got for 60 minutes last week, they should be too dominant up front. Would love Samoa to get the chance to run at them though.
Go Samoa

I hope they pit that mad Zulu dancer against the Haka during the Rugby Championship.

Great chance for Samoa here. They almost had SA in the RWC and now they're a better team.

Was hoping it would be a lot closer than this after Samoa's wins against Scotland and Italy.

Just what has happened to Samoa? Must be finally coming together for SA now after a couple of games. They'll be in a strong position going into the Rugby Championship.

Re: South Africa v Samoa
SA generally rack up the points against Samoa, the world cup result was a bit of an aberration though SA seemed content in that game just to hoof the ball to the Samoans knowing their defence would be sufficient to win the game.

Samoa have really upped their offloading game, I hope it can bring them back into this game

They're not taking it lying down, the Samoans, quite a decent game.

Red card?
Edit: just a penalty? Shocking. He grabbed the guys balls and gave a good squeeze if his face had anything to do with it

I guess "play the ball and not the man" is a bit of a grey area.

Thats an absolute shocker from Tuilagi. Fair play to Jean De Villiers for keeping his cool and even accepting Tuilagi's hand shake after it.

Pity though, shaping up to be a great game but think it might be a bit of a landslide now.

Samoa are so good to watch. If they could get regular time against the top nations they could be a real force.

Re: South Africa v Samoa
Impressed by both teams, was closer than the score would suggest but the Boks were comfortable winners. At times brutal, at times great running, as Leinster suggested would be very interesting if the Samoans had more games against top opposition, they're so much better when they forget the thuggery & concentrate on the running & offloading.

Re: South Africa v Samoa
Some kind soul has posted the full game on youtube so currently watching it through and spotted an odd moment between the medics at 39:28 - guy in the red cap really isn't keen on sharing his disposable gloves!
Re: South Africa v Samoa
Hmmm, what didn't he like? His glove being taken from him or the colour of the hand taking it? Seemed needlessly sharp under the context that all the medics seemed to be fluffing around looking for gloves or giving them

Or he has a latex allergy and those are his gloves.

geez Samoa is a dirty team. Stomping on heads, grabbing the testicles, stiff arm clothesline which nearly beheaded JDV...
It's like they've been told to be aggressive, but don't know the difference between that and thuggery.

Careful Dally. When Wales complained about Samoa's dirty play during the autumn internationals we wee told to man up!

Who's the wimpy South African? There no Saffas complaining here. JDV even got up and shook the hand of the guy who tried to decapitate him!

Isn't Dallym south african? And to be honest it was all meant in jest, JDV i'm sure won't be bothered by some rough stuff it's having to try to keep up with quick players that wrecks him!

Don't forget thuggery and cheating is okay if it happens to Wales.

I suppose the only Saffa complaining was me complaining of being accused of complaining. Oh the irony. In a related note: is it just me, or do the emoticons no longer work? They do help to indicate the gist of the jest!

I'm an NZer (though the real DallyM 100 years ago was an Aussie. He played for my favourite league team)
