Impact Wrestling financial problems
Impact Wrestling has reportedly cut back on flying in talent for television tapings. There are increasing signs that Impact Wrestling is worrying more than usual about money these days.
this has got me thinking how much money do Impact Wrestling actually have? they have to pay the staff and wrestlers etc but also probably the most expensive people in the company Hulk Hogan and the stinger. Sting has constantly been thinking about retiring and yet always signs up for 1 more year each time. and I have a feeling that is because he is offered more and more money each year to sign on the dotted line. as for Hogan well we all know Hogan is only in it for the money which im guessing is a substantial sum.
so my question is do you the 606v2 universe think that Impact Wrestling are having financial problems caused by a combination of the talent and staff working there and the economic situation in the world or are the internet geeks over-reacting with this story about wrestlers cutting back on flying to arenas?

TNA /Impact has always been running at a loss.
As long as Dixie wants to pump money into it, it will keep going. Bit like WCW and Ted Turner. As soon as AOL merged with Time Warner he lost control and they wanted rid.
Its probably a sensible cost cutting measure, why have everyone there? you only need the talent thats going to be on the show. Also shouldnt most guys drive? I thought that was half the fun the road trips.

There will be increased costs by going on the road too so it makes sense.
As Motty said, they have always had rumoured losses so this shouldn't be read too far into, IMO

I bought one of those little plastic feckers but it was the real Dixie Carter who showed up in the post. So I sent her back.
As for the original post, as has been said TNA have always operated at a loss. As long as Dixie's Mom and Pop continue funding the company though they should be alright. As MetalMotty says these guys should be road tripping it to each venue. That's one of the time honoured traditions of the business - driving from town to town chucking beer bottles at road signs whilst driving at 90mph or mooning each other as they overtake until the stakes get raised to two guys in the boot pretending to have relations of an intimate nature with each other.
It's what the sport of professional wrestling is all about!
