Your Fave Hand
Its the starting point of a great hand when we finally get those two cards we long for.
We try to hide our excitment pre flop but what are those two cards you favour over all others?
Personally mine is KK.
A decent raise pre flop and most with an ace will call.
If no ace out you laughing, but if an ace out your finished lol.

Poker addicts too? i missed out on 606!
Favourite hand has to be AA really doesn't it? Although if it wasn't for statistics my favourite hand is pocker 9's, no idea why!
Worst hand - pockert J's, overbet? underbet? its easy to over value your hand pre-flop which can lead you in a pickle, just cause their face cards doesn't make them that high a calibre, i like pocket 7's to 9's cause you know exactly what your playing with!

Re: Your Fave Hand
ive won a lot of hands with j 10 of clubs Hobo, i guess the appeal of high'ish suited connectors works well.
Hooks are very tricky to play ShockmasterV2, you really need a nice flop to take the move further. Regardless of what comes out on the turn, because of a good overbet on the flop you represent a strong hand, and if an ace or king turns and the other player hits (assuming most fold your flop bet), they think you have a monster hand because of the flop bet.
1) it depends on the flop
2) works best in heads up play
3) over bet the flop
the only way you are caught out is by trips, flush or straight, which wont happen that often in heads up play

YI - you play online or at a place?
Im from Nottingham and visit DuskTillDawn every Friday, Sunday and usually Wednesdays (except for tonight) for a £20 freeze out, and out of say 24 tournaments iv cashed 13 times so im on a lucky patch at the minute.
Not really a heads up player, i like to sit and calculate and think the whole atmosphere of a tournament is immense! in cash games there is a lot of tension and frustration, but overall i do play from time to time (if i'm eliminated early from a tourney).
Iv hit quad 9s before on a flop hence why i love the hand, to have a guy shove all in with trip K's thinking he'd would for him to sit there and say 'You little Flip' really does make your night!
Shock.

quad 9s and some1 else goes all in.
cant wish for a better senario lol
i used to play the pub leagues - Red Tooth Poker, but it was getting too expensive cos the Mrs wanted to come and she only drinks double vodkas lol. Was spending 70 quid every Wednesday.
I only play online now, but you cant beat live play, the feeling you get is unreal.
I do alot of facebook poker, also check out wwepoker.com.
Its totally free and can win loads of cash & prizes. I won an i-pod touch on my 1st week.

Favourite hand has to be J 10 suited - although you always get that "feeling" when you look down and see the rockets.
But J 10 suited really because it is usually good to me when i play it!

Re: Your Fave Hand
I'm with Legend, I have a fondness for AK suited. Usually a nice easy hand to play
Actually I really dislike pocket 9s, I think I've lost a few too many hands on them (to a high pair on the river usually, once someone had ten five off suit, kept calling and hit ten on the river, ARGHHH!, smashed him afterwards but still gives me nightmares)

Re: Your Fave Hand
Am I sad because my hand makes me think of a wrestling star and that's why I picked it? (AJ).
Don't answer that!

Re: Your Fave Hand
My best holecards recently has been Q 9 offsuit. It's paid out handsomely the last 5 times in a row. Another strange one high in my list recently is 10 2 offsuit.
@shockmasterV2: I've had a conversation recently about how pocket queens are often overbet.

Re: Your Fave Hand
Jeremy Beadle had a really small Pork sword.
But on the other hand, it was quite big.
Sorry. :run2:
