Back injury I read.
"Haase goes on to face fifth seed Feliciano Lopez. The Spaniard was leading second seed Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4, 2-6, 4-3 when the Swiss retired with a lower back injury. Haase has a 1-1 FedEx ATP Head2Head record against Lopez, winning their one clay-court contest two years ago in Kitzbuhel. "

I wonder if the number of matches he's played this year are catching up with The Man.

Thanks TSJ.
Hope a bit of rest will do the trick and he is back for the big tournaments coming up.

I was hoping at least one Swiss could have made it to the final, between Chiudinelli (in Federer's head ) or Stan the Man.

Really bizarre match in Umag.
Fognini won the first set 6-0 in about 15 minutes. Monfils won the 2nd 6-3. Fognini then went 5-0 up and was serving for the match. Now he's serving at 6-5 down to stay in the match.
