Difficult to know what to make of that Rami/Carroll deal.

Rami's rating has dropped rapidly with his form and he probably won't play again until he completes his move to Milan in January. But Carroll is a bit of an enigma too. Cuuld be great, could just be injured. A watch and see for both sides there.

Knoche is a great find Treb's for £1.1m.

Whether Carroll is injured or not, people know what he's about. Get balls in the air to him and he'll win them, simple as that. I can see him and Tevez upfront being debatably the strongest strike pairing in the league. If all else fails, his lawyer's value is £16m.

Carroll's rating has always been hit and miss in these leagues. People will judge him on his Liverpool form unless he stays injury free.

I'm not sure whether I like the combo to be honest

I'm loathe to join in, but I can safely say that I rate that Knoche deal far better for Trebs than the Carroll one.

Carroll is awful. How on earth he has had £50 million spent on him in his career so far I'll never know. He had a good half season at Newcastle. Has he even scored 30 Prem goals?

I used to be like you, I thought he was just a big bloke that was lazy and missed chances.

I was very wrong. He works hard. He's physically a nightmare for any centre back. He has two good feet and a good head. He's a good striker.

I won't justify 35m, but I can say 15m seems reasonable enough for him. If he can stay fit.
