International Football Wednesday
Fixtures:
NI vs Russia - World cup Qualifier (7:45pm K.O.)
Wales vs R.O.I. - Friendly (7:45pm K.O.)
England vs Scotland - Friendly (7:45pm K.O.)
Some good games on show, always good to see the home nations play each other again. I'm attending the Welsh game, hopefully we can keep up the good progress we have made under Coleman. Shame we haven't got Bale or Ramsey but still the squad is looking far more stronger every year.
England vs Scotland should also be a great occasion, hopefully there'll be a fair few scots there at Wembley.
Predictions:
NI 0-2 Russia
Wales 1-1 ROI
England 3-1 Scotland

Re: International Football Wednesday
Haha good to hear, he'll do some things that'll frustrate the heck out of Irish fans, but he does things other players can't do. Absolute magician of a player, every Norwich player says he's the best they've played with. Enjoy him (and don't bloody injure him!!!)

Carrick joins Young on the withdrawal list. Won't miss Carrick too much.
Wilshere and Rooney set to get 45 minutes each tonight.

Just another friendly for me, will have very little bearing on the much more important games next month.mystiroakey wrote:I cant see this being whats its pegged up to be.. The media can try and big this game up. But does anyone care really.

Re: International Football Wednesday
I think FIFA are abolishing the August international friendly from next year. It's one of the only sensible things they've ever done.

Re: International Football Wednesday
Would like to say commiserations to Scotland, you did very well and you put your all into the match, much appreciated, good team. Build on from there.
Congrats England even though you started slowly you warmed up and came back twice then Lambert scores the winning goal.
A good game, not boring, full of action even heated push'em abouts, but ultimately and good test for both teams.
Eng 3 Scots 2.

Fantastic result tonight for Northern Ireland.
They'll be dancing in the streets of Tel Aviv.
