V2Football show - Performance of the week.
Hi all,
This week on the Football Podcast we are starting a new feature which we would like to get the listeners involved in as much as possible.
I am putting this topic up for people to nominate which player they think had the performance of the week within the English Leagues. Then Tomorrow I will try and put a poll up to gather votes and then we will hopefully get a winner of the Performance of the week and we will discuss it on the podcast.
Thanks all.

Tom Huddlestone (Hull) vs Norwich
As much as I don't rate him, he was head and shoulders above everyone on that pitch

Ah, now I see the 'English Leagues' bit. I guess we could also say Jordan Rhodes, Nakhi Wells and Loick Pires (does Conference count?)

If we're talking English leagues then, can we go below the conference?
I am of course talking about the utter spineless tw@ that was the referee of Truro-Bideford yesterday. I would hesitate to call it a football match though, more like a running battle for 90 minutes.

If were going below the Confrence, Whitehawk beat Dorchester 6-2 and Danny Mills scored 5 goals.

Could you put who they play for and who they played against, just to make it easier for Mikey to make the Poll tomorrow! Thanx!
Re: V2Football show - Performance of the week.
James Vaughan - Huddersfield 5-1 Bournemouth - Scored a hatrick.
Leo Ulloa - Brighton 2-0 Burnley - Put in a MOTM performance, scored and set one up, Won pretty much every header as well.
Frazer Campbell - Cardiff 3-2 Man City - Won Cardiff the game to delight everyone!
John Terry - United 0-0 Chelsea - Put in a solid MOTM defensive performance, at Old Trafford the toughest place in the whole country!

I'd also like to nominate Scott Parker for Fulham against Arsenal.

Jonjo Shelvey for Swansea v Tottenham?
I don't rate the lad anyway, but he had a shocker - getting away with one challenge that should have been a pen in the first half, so making up for it in the second.
Perhaps more seriously, we should nominate Andros Townsend for Spurs in the same game.

Re: V2Football show - Performance of the week.
I'll stick with my original nomination:
Ben Foster - West Brom vs Everton - kept Albion in the game single-handedly, made seven stops, several of them crucial ones, and forced Everton to become more and more frustrated as the game went on. Unlucky to pick up a 3 month injury in the game, as his form would probably have gotten him an England start.
