IRFU Revolution... Empty IRFU Revolution...

Post by theslosty Fri 6 Sep - 9:58

An idea for the growing number of ruggerpolitical fanatics..

Meet the main players in communist Russia/Irish rugby.
Orwell would not be proud.

1. Weak, ignorant, backward and completely inefficient, meet the Tsar Declan the First. Out the door already.

2. Exciting idealogy, doubts about realistic prospects, Schmidt can only be Vladimir Lenin.

3. A results-driven individual with scores to settle. Style, ethos, sentiment???? Nationality was Stalin and Lenin's only common factor...

4. Stalin exiled our hero, Trotsky. Stop reading if you didn't see that one.

5. Some have moved onto a better life, namely western Europe... Similarly, a capitalist culture has aided this.

6. The peasants remain trapped and isolated in their villages/provinces - James Coughlan, (understated Ulster centre) (hard working Leinster back rower)

7. There is only one Red Army, well, two if you include those damned commies. Stephen Ferris needs awakening...

8. Rasputin had a bit of a reputation for being a bit of a maverick. Not sure if I'm legally permitted to point fingers on this one...

9. The nobles were  revered subjects of the Tsar. SPOILER: may not be controversial enough for you Wink

10. Some peasants have left for the factories. (Munster and Ulster back-rows)

11. Some remain in the villages. (See 9)

Bonus: figure POC, Michael Bent and the IRFU

Haven't heard that one before...

OK if Stalin is Gatland come on...

7 or 8 can't be hard for you

5 is obvious, no?

5 and 11 are the same thing really but one involves Paddy Wallace and the other Darren Cave.

9. Who is the highest payed player in Ireland and who regularly acquires the wrath of Ulster fans?

10. Two 7s who are finally making the step up to international rugby.

Pretty confident Gatland was likened to various war mongering dictators on the Davies abuse thread.
