At last, we can all talk rugby again !!!!!!!!
Bring it on, tonight is the night, after weeks of reading arguments over BOD and how unfair the Lions were, we can now get back to the real thing, honestly it feels as though I have been given my right arm back. Lets get on with arguing about biased refs, and unfair results, and the what not. I am going to sit infront of the tele tonight with a few cans of stella and a big bag of firey hot dorito's, LET THE SEASON BEGIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite right. As usual at this time of year, I am full of hope that Gloucester will take their rightful place at the top of English Rugby!

You get your right arm back and the first thing you want to do is talk about rugby? I can think of other things you could do.

BOD was treated unfairly by Gatland.

I was like a little kid this morning as I was getting ready to go to work, as I leave straight from work to PYS, I was checking I had my shirt, my hat, my ticket, then double checking I have my shirt my hat, my ticket. Then in the car I checked and double checked again before starting the engine.
It is finally hear, well almost but whats 6hrs, and I am bloody excited!

The best thing about the start of a new season is that anything is possible.

Back in the prem...with our strong coaching team.
Still a team in development...can we survive...or indeed can we surprise the teams (we'll certainly bring physicality to the games).
Then we have the internationals....
Ah its just great being back in the season.

Too true, remember last season when the Dragons and Scarlets were both in the home play off spots, and the Ospreys were not even in the HEC spots.Luckless Pedestrian wrote:The best thing about the start of a new season is that anything is possible.

I will. Two checks in the car afterwork before starting the engine, and then when I get to my dad's house it will be another check/double check before we leave his. Not that I am paranoid/cautious at all.gregortree wrote:Scarlet, you'd better check again.

Couldn't you see if there's a locker you can hire at Parc y Scarlets, so you can just leave your stuff there?

LP - it may seem a bit of a dullard thing to do but it has almost become as much a part of the pre-match traditon as having a beer before kick-off The only downside to the season starting up again will be having to listen toe the Scrum V parrots (the people who only watch the highlights show, and think the pundits are always right) at work on Monday morning.

Ben Morgans must have been the biggest, I heard it had a fridge and a microwave in it so that he could eat all the pies!

Is anyone willing to bet the Spidey still gets to the turnstiles and discovers he has forgotten his ticket?

LordD, you Welsh boyos might be able to devote all your energy to rugby right now, but on this side of the Irish Sea we are still diverted by the end of the GAA season - hurling final next Sunday and two weeks later the football final when the glorious Dublin team will put manners on the upstart muck shovelers from Mayo. Until then the Rabo is going to have to take second place - in any event Leinster will do their usual Rabo opener by losing their first couple of games.

Ahem, Lord D, Bren, if we may, we have rugby here too this w/e.
I'm off to Kingsholm for Glaws opener tomorrow.
West Country has more rugby than football and GAA combined - at least here in the West.
S Wales has more soccer than rugby.

Hmmm, I wonder how Swansea and Cardiff being in the Premier League will affect some attendances for the regions this season.

Not that I am aware of, and to be honest there are so few of us who actually go to see us that I would have seen any fake-mes. Sure it isn't just seeing me with and without a beard? Oh thinking I have seen a few kids in spidey baseball caps, and some folk in full blown superhero outfits on for the Xmas derby match (v Ospreys) and occationally the Dec. HEC games.

Their attendances in the football always look higher as they count the riot police in the attendance figuresCyril wrote:Hmmm, I wonder how Swansea and Cardiff being in the Premier League will affect some attendances for the regions this season.
