England fans attacked in Ukraine
A group of England football supporters have been injured in an alleged attack ahead of tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine in Kiev.
Some 30 hooded Ukrainians armed with knives are said to have set upon the fans in a coffee shop
Three England fans were taken to hospital following the fight last night, according to local reports.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: 'We are aware of incidents in Kiev involving British nationals.
'We are providing consular assistance.'

Re: England fans attacked in Ukraine
I know back during the 90's the English were not the best behaved but since then, as a nation, we have bettered ourselves massively and then this happens.
It does make me want to know both sides of the story. Do these people think they're better because they've managed to severely hurt a group of English people or that they believe themselves to be "well hard"?
In my opinion, they've simply contributed towards our boycotting of their countries tourist income.
Will they learn........?

Personally I would avoid going to russia, poland, ukraine, montenegro etc as a football fan following my team. Far to much football hooliganism.
