I imagine Mr Hill will be welcoming Olly into his shop with open arms following his betting so far.sodhat wrote:Olly wrote:Used my free £10 bet on Shady McCoy first TD scorer at 15/2. Frak it
Nice one pal. You're gonna need to slow down on your betting before William Hill himself comes round and breaks your knees.
Nice call on the McCoy TD, just a shame someone else beat him too it

Absolutely Soddy. The only teams to score against us this season are Norwich and Stevenage, so you will need to raise yourself into that elite company to take all the points

We've only been scored against via set piece against Stoke. Stupid Stoke.
I can't see us beating you. I'd like to think home can be a fortress but I can't see where we get the goals from.

Albion were kept quiet by Everton, Hardly difficult, but there you go.
Afro, what do you make of Alan Stubbs's comments re Baines?

Re: Euro Division LXV
I can imagine we will get the ball, pass it about a lot without really creating any meaningful chances. The only hope is that the occasional chance we have previously created for Jelavic, we will create for Lukaku instead and he will actually put some away. For example, Jelavic had a header against Chelsea where he was clearly low on confidence, he jumped to early and didn't connect. I reckon Lukaku would have at least made the keeper save itsodhat wrote:We've only been scored against via set piece against Stoke. Stupid Stoke.

Re: Euro Division LXV
No great surprise. I thought it was common knowledge that he had said he was interested in moving to United, but the club had said they weren't prepared to sell him just yet. Baines, being the model pro, accepted it and just got on with his job. I think it can be summed up as that he didn't ask to leave, he was interested in joining United, which is understandableAzzy Mahmood wrote:Albion were kept quiet by Everton, Hardly difficult, but there you go.

As long as he's got his Jam CDs, Vespa, and a signed photo of Bradley Wiggins, he'll be happy.

Re: Euro Division LXV
Well Wiggins being what I would call a nonce, but what apparently I mean is an idiot/muppet/fool/twonk, is pure fackt, so I can only assume you think me accusing Baines of having taste is a big thing?
My use of the word nonce has no relation to inappropriate or criminal behaviour, it merely means idiot where I come from.

Nonce = what someone brought up in Solihull would call an idiot, it doesn't have any relation to inappropriate or criminal behaviour.

A nonce is an idiot, because they speak nonsense. It's short for that. I've been calling people nonces, and not offending them, for about 20 years.

Re: Euro Division LXV
Nonce = slang word for a sex offender or child sexual abuser.

They were fairly bad last season too, hovering above the relegation zone before a late season surge.

Wigan aren't so hot either.
Everytime we've been in the Championship we've escaped. But that is one tough league.
