I loved Egil Ostenstadt. My second favourite Norwegian striker behind Jan Aage Fjortoft.
Garry Flitcroft was no Paul Lake, let's be honest

Re: Euro Division LXVI
I have a game. Someone names an obscure player from the 90s and then the next person has to name another but their first name must begin with the same letter as the last name of the one previous.
So:
Garry Flitcroft
Frank Sinclair
Steve Stone
etc. I want to see some real obscure ones

That 1990's City team should have achieved so much more than it did..Flitcroft, Lake. Andy Hinchcliffe. Colin Hendry. David White. So much ability!

He never passed the ball but he was one of the best dribblers I've seen. Scored some crackers. I remember him scoring vs West Ham in the FA Cup in like 97. I remember it because I had diahorrea that day and I was in some discomfort.Afro wrote:What a player!sodhat wrote:Georgi Kinkladze

What a player he could have been. Think he was on his way to United pre-injury

I want to gamble, but would have to do it on the sly so the wife doesn't find out, and do it on incognito so she doesn't see WillHill in the history. Too much effort though.

Re: Euro Division LXVI
My only gambling tip is for American Football, look up the first touchdown scorers of each game. Usually they have a few names and then an option of "Any other ...........(team name)" and sometimes they let obvious redzone threats slip into that category. This won me a few bob this week.Olly wrote:Currently just down so have gone safe tonight to get back to even hopefullysodhat wrote:Where are you with your gambling young man? Up, down, or even?

You don't explain it. You a) keep it in your account or b) spend it on something selfish.

Well keep an eye on the Titans. Usually they have their two receivers and Chris Johnson to score first and then you can get "any other" for about 12/1. I always fancy Delanie Walker to make a grab or maybe give Shonn Greene the goalline carry.Olly wrote:Give us a heads up next week then! And also, if you are doing accys I suggest you look at doing them on the over/under on points. That way you're predicting whether the game will have more or less points and it doesn't rely on picking a winner. Which is harder than just saying you think it will be an offensive contest.

I've seen Cleverly live and he played well and scored a cracker.
Literally the last time I've seen him a) play well, b) get a shot on target

I think I might get PES 2014 this year. Just read a review on the Guardian that made it sound incredible.
