International Series 2014
Sunday 28th September
Oakland Raiders vs Miami Dolphins
This will be the second time the Raiders have met the Dolphins away from the US after their 1991 meeting in the Tokyo Dome. That game ended 19-17 to the Dolphins. The Raiders last played at Wembley in a preseason game in 1990 against the New Orleans Saints losing 17-10. They also played preseason games in Barcelona beating the Denver Broncos 25-22 in 1994 before losing 21-6 to the Dallas Cowboys in the Azteca, Mexico City in 2001.
This will be the Dolphins third trip to Wembley. They lost to the Giants 13-10 in the inaugural International Series game in London having previously been to the capital to face the San Francisco 49ers in the American Bowl game in 1988 with Miami winning 27-21. The Dolphins played three further American Bowl games, winning all three, against the Raiders in Tokyo and the Broncos twice in Berlin, 1992 and Mexico City in 1997.
Sunday 26th October
Atlanta Falcons vs Detroit Lions
The Falcons have played twice before away from the USA. Both times in Tokyo beating the Dallas Cowboys 20-9 in 2000 and beating the Indianapolis Colts 27-21 in 2005.
The Lions have been to London once before in 1993 in a game against the Dallas Cowboys that ended up as a 13-13 tie.
Sunday 9th November
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Dallas Cowboys
The Jaguars played their first game outside the US last month when they lost 42-10 to the 49ers the first of their three Wembley games.
The Cowboys have played the most games abroad than any other NFL team. This will be their first International Series game but they played in nine American Bowl games between 1986 and 2001. Their record in those games was a very poor 1-7-1. They were involved in the first Wembley game back in 1986 losing 17-6 to the Chicago Bears. They then lose to the Houston Oilers in 1992 in the Tokyo Dome 34-23. They returned to Wembley the following year for the tied game against the Lions. They lost to the Oilers again in 1994, this time in Mexico City, 6-0. In 1995 they lost to the Buffalo Bills 9-7 in Toronto. In 1996 they went back to Mexico where they lose 32-6 to the Kansas City Chiefs in Monterrey. They lost again in Mexico City in 1998 to the New England Patriots 21-3. Another trip to Tokyo in 2000 saw a loss to the Falcons before they finally won a game against the Raiders, again in Mexico City, 21-6 in 2001.
Initial ticket sales details have also been confirmed, with season ticket sales beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, via www.ticketmaster.co.uk/NFL. The ticket sales dates are as follows:

Re: International Series 2014
3 games, wow. Surprised they've up'd it so soon. Looks like the NFL are really keen on a London franchise (a mistake it my mind).
I would of thought it would be better to have one game travelling around Europe (Dublin, Frankfurt, Amsterdam...) in addition to the Wembley games.
Got to be honest, none of those 3 possibilities appeals to much. Shame the Packers aren't due to play @ Atlanta next year, would love to see the Packers over here.

Re: International Series 2014
It has to be the Bills or the Dolphins for the Raiders, realistically. Both east coast teams and the other matches are either divisional or rivalry games (no way will they bring the Battle of the Bay over here).
Cards is possible I guess. Not a big draw though. I will be getting tickets regardless of opponent of course.

Re: International Series 2014
Yep, its a bit of a stretch to imagine any divisional games would be brought over just yet.
Cowboys coming over would appeal to many, they are still arguably the glamour franchise in the NFL, and would truly be the equivalent of Man Utd or Real Madrid playing games in the US etc

Cool.
Head says the Raiders v Dolphins game, but if Haley (the future Mrs Skyforger) is still with the ROAR it might have to be the Jags game again!

Re: International Series 2014
Yeah but they should rebound next year, getting healthier and a top draft slot.
Plus just to see Megatron play live would be amazing. Then the likes of Julio Jones, Suh, Bush, Stafford/Ryan as well and you got some serious star power!!
