Here are the fixtures for the UK and EIRE teams:

Group A - Wales v Macedonia (1945 BST)

Group C - Germany v Republic of Ireland (1945)

Group F - Azerbaijan v Northern Ireland (1700)

Group H - England v Montenegro (2000)


My predictions?

Wales and NI to both draw 1-1

ROI to lose 2-0

England to win 3-1

Don't know why everyone gets on sky's back - it's good value for money.

yep best england performance for a long time. and walker has been good tonight, along with baines and townsend are my top 3 so far

We should be doing this against montenegro anyway. For me to be this happy over this shows how bad it has been before.
This is englands strongest historical time of the year(everyone match fit yet not late enough into the season where they are all drained mentally and physically. so it doesn't show how we are going to play in the WC(and the fact is there are teams much better than us anyway!)

England were awful first half, improved second half but that's all. result is nothing spectacular, nothing to shout about. This montenegro side should of been dead and buried months ago, shows how bad england have been in this group. The second goal was comical, embarrassing. Other than Jovetic, those players wouldnt even get in a league one team. Townsend this, Townsend that is all im hearing.....c'mon, reality check. Lampard has to go, so slow, ponderous offers nothing now. Cahill is just an accident waiting to happen, cant even pass properly.

Yeah, good result but half the job done. if anything, Lewandowski, obraniak, Piszczek, Blaszczyowski will offer more threat on tuesday.

Well that was nice wasn't it? Right from the moment you saw Theo Walcott's beautiful face in the ITV studio, to the moment the referee blew the final whistle. There were a few wobbles, such as Roy Keane's beard, and Montenegro's goal, but England rose above it. A win well deserved. A scoreline that didn't flatter.

Montenegro said they weren't scared of England. Well that probably explained why they had 11 men behind the ball for the first 20 minutes, in a game they needed to win!

England were fine. 7/10 performance. Patient build-up play, good pressing up the pitch, and kept the ball well. Raised the tempo in the second half, and then proceeded to tear Montenegro apart. Probably should have been more than 2 nil up when Montenegro scored, but that's football (not to mention poor crossing!).

Rather impressed with how the front four of Welbeck, Sturridge, Rooney and Townsend (brilliant goal!) linked up. Gerrard and Lampard still not, and never will be, the best partnership in the middle for England. Would much rather have Wilshere and Gerrard.

What will the critics say now? It was only Montenegro? That as maybe, but England still got it right, and Hodgson made the right choices.

Win against an already-defeated Poland on Tuesday, and England will be amongst the chosen few. That sounds rather nice. 2, maybe 3, nil to England on Tuesday, I'll say. I'd make 2 changes myself: Wilshere in for Lampard, and Jones in for Walker.

Well done England. That was enjoyable, and pleasant to watch.

I can't say I disagree with anything you've put in their Duty. Finish off on Tuesday, then we can all look forward to the draw whenever that is!

You know what Duty, it's not often I'll say it but for the most part I agree with your post above (the score line v Poland the only exception).

Poland dont have anything to play for. Will they be able to raise their game. They will be mentally dead and waiting to get back to their clubs.

All I can say is what i said before- if we can't win(and win well) we dont deserve anything.

If we can play in the same way as we did today - i see no problem with a 2-3 goal win.

this all happened after the staff had found abnormalities in spending(that you had overspent by 15m!!)

We had 63% of the ball and 16 shots according to the BBC! Had 3 fantastic chances, and should have had a penalty!
