Thought I saw him on Holby City (or "Holby") this week. He was severed and a definitely still a hand although he was black but given he's such a tremdous actor I wouldn't put it past him to pull off such a performancerick_dagless wrote:never really did much after that, couple of cameos in the Adams Family, and a brief appearance in the WWE, shame...bhb001 wrote:The severed hand from Evil Dead 2

Re: Favourite Fictional Characters?
Some humorous, some serious. Some starring roles, some supporting. Some for great acting, some just for memorable moments or lines. But I loved all these characters for whatever reason:hbk48942 wrote:i dont think there is a thread like this here so thought i would start this thread , out of all the movies , TV shows , comic books , video games etc , who are your favourite fictional characters?
Movies
Pontius Pilate (Played by Michael Palin) in Life of Brian
Nelson Mandela (played by Morgan Freeman) in Invictus
The man with no name (played by Clint Eastwood) in all the spaghetti westerns
R P McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Charlie Croker (Michael Caine) in The Italian Job
Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers) in all the Pink Panther movies
Evelyn Couch (Kathy Bates) in Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café
TV series
Rowan Atkinson and Tony Robinson as Blackadder and Baldrick
Paul Nicholas and Jan Francis as Vincent and Penny in Just Good Friends
Trevor Eve as DCI Boyd in Waking the Dead
Leo McKern as Rumpole of the Bailey
The entire cast of Dad's Army, every one of 'em. Genius
Tom Baker as The Doctor (Who, that is)
Paul Eddington and Nigel Hawthorne in Yes Minister and Yes, Prime Minister
Penelope Kieth as Margot in The Good Life
Too many favourites to list, really. These are just a few off the top of my head. I might add others as they come to mind.

Being a staunch Catholic and knowing the true meaning of Christmas i take great offence at the suggestion in the last post that Santa is fictional.
