We did this on the boxing thread and it sparked some excellent debate. Pretty simple your top 10 wrestlers from any era or promoton. Put them in order from 1-10.

Their is 10 points for 1st place 9 for 2nd etc..
Any ridiculous posts will just not be counted so Santino will not make the top 10.

Ones before my time: Lou Thesz, Georgeous George, Freddie Blassie, Buddy Rogers, Bruno Sammartino, Andre the Giant, Verne Gagne, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior.

In terms of this because I am younger guys like Hogan, Sting and Flair are further down the list than they maybe should be... The Rock would be higher but for him leaving at about 33 for the movies, Michaels also is lower because he lost years to his recovery. Taker is a legend but has never been the No. 1 guy in the company (possibly bar The Ministry time). Triple H has been a phenomenal heel and I don't think that his personal life was the reason he has been so successful.

Prettyboykev - While a great discussion topic I think it is fairly obvious from the answers given that the question should be rephrased along the lines of the best wrestler in the last 20 years...

I don't think that any of us can really give an answer further back than that.

Looks like that's the way it's going. The only reason I did all time was we did that on the boxing page. Just a bit of a copy and paste job tbh.

Fair enough, though I suspect there is more footage from old boxing contests (la Motta, Clay/Ali, SRR etc) which there is unlikely to be with wrestling.

Much of wrestling history has, unfortunately, been consigned to folklore and legend and doesn't have the same archive of evidence that can be reviewed.

You're right I'm going to change it to the last 20 years.
