And we're back with a bang!
As fireworks go off all around us (no expense spared here at podcast towers) Gavin, Hero and Chris bring you their take on TNA and WWE this week, but with a twist.
This edition of the V2 Wrestling Podcast takes current stories and looks at them from a different perspective.
Are TNA using social media correctly? Who was better: Jericho or HHH?
We also keep up with the latest movement in the ring as we discuss Big Show's elevation to the main event, suited and booted Kane and how TNA are managing their quest for a new Champion.
Enjoy!
Note: We're all in one section this week. For those who want to skip on to part 2 and WWE (those who, for some reason, don't enjoy TNA!) then you may want to jump to 28 minutes in...

Enjoyable podcast as usual,
Talking of Owen Hart's popularity in foreign countries, he was one of the top junior heavyweights in Japan in the early 90's
And the only kinds of wrestlers Ahmed Johnston should be mentioned in the same breath as are Khali and Gonzales, not Rock, Austin and Ken Shamrock

That said the only part I really did take issue with was your comments towards ODB, I could get lost for days in those Jubblies

Ahmed Johnson deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the Rock, Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock purely for those 'Fun with Ahmed' vids on Youtube.

I think Ken Shamrock is hugely underrated. He disappeared very quietly off the scene but for a while he was great. You should check out how over he was in late 97/early 98

Re: v2 Wrestling Podcast 5th November 2013
great show fellas!
part 3 was exceptionally good, had me thinking and pretty much came up with the same as yourselves, either push someone who was there or import a wcw/ecw guy. I think shane douglas would have been good if he had been brought in later to wwf.
Ken shamrock was decent, i remember him, mankind and the rock in a cage match being good, think it was a number one contender match.
if there had been no Austin or Rock do you think HBK would not have retired when he did or possibly have come back earlier?

What I meant to ask and never did was would Steve Austin have come to the top if no Stone Cold "gimmick" had been invented or used

Re: v2 Wrestling Podcast 5th November 2013
Thanks for covering my question about social media. I agree that they need to go back to basics before attempting to "revolutionize" the business. The problem with TNA is rather than going back to square one when they make mistakes they seem to try and jump to 5 or 6.
I like the idea of the heavyweight tournament and I think the brackets have been well chosen. I don`t want Roode or Storm to have another rivalry after their great pay off at BFG 2012 in what was a tremendous street brawl. But it makes sense as they have history to put them together in the first round. I see Roode v Magnus in the finals with Roode winning dirty, keeping Magnus looking strong. This then allows Magnus to continue chasing the title as Roode then faces AJ Styles in a unification title match at Genesis.
