I can understand this deal from both perspectives. Just think if CF had gone for Murray over Laidlaw. Would've made more sense. But lets keep the transfer activity going thumbsup

Yeah, i'm ok with it, got Smith and Fall to cover FB and needed some quality at 9. Last weeks' feedback was that I need more quality at 8 and 9, so i've gone and signed Youngs and Faletau, hopefully that sorts it out!

It's a good deal for both don't get me wrong. CF needed a good fullback, but he has downgraded a bit at scrum half now.

Great deal for Bathite. I reckon CF would have been better served using that 24m on a full back and continue using Youngs at 9. Much better than Weepu/Laidlaw and JMH
