I am interested in Crane, but not looking to pay the world for him to be honest as there is no guarantee he will even come back from injury. Any player swap that interests you? An academy player maybe?

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
Think we'll struggle for Lambie mate as he is academy aged still next season so doesn't take up a squad place for me, whereas any equivalent standard player from you would have to go into my senior squad.
I'm not against swapping Borthwick for Crane, but it will depend on who I can get in foreigns to come into the second row. If you are prepared to wait until foreigns open then we could potentially have a deal.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
I will leave it then I saw Diggin as equal to crane. Crane slightly better but injury prone and a decent ap
Player. Diggin a versatile good ap player and good bench option.
To be fair crane would be probably number 40 in my squad like Diggin is. I have loads of English wings hence trying to get English squad backrower for lv cup etc

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
Fair enough I am not the greatest fan of either.
Both decent ap players. Crane lucky he plays at Leicester and has armchair ride as he is pace less.
Diggin lucky he plays at saints and gets so many opportunities to score. Doubt he would not be as prolific else where.
Good club servants and no more for me. Vital to have a few in this game also

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
Wouldn't look to get rid of Launchbury, as he's going to be a very good player and the reason I let Attwood go.
I'm a bit short of no12s at the moment - who have you got available, as I think a lot of my deals will start going through once I work out who I am going to sign

5 Mil and Sam Twonney for Jordan Crane?

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
Think you rate Crane a lot more than I do. When you said cheap i thought you meant cheap not involving my best young EQ players.
Twomney a handy player with the under 20's this summer. I just already have 4 other decent young EQ locks so I don't really have space for him.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
But you only get 1.5 mil for him in releases and his long term injury is an obvious worry.
Offering an academy player seemed more sensible to me as you like everyone else are trying to trim down your senior squad.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
Im just working out my squad for next year - but do have quite a lot of no9s already so that wouldnt be an area I was looking to add to. Probably looking to get rid of eitehr Davies or Harrison if I'm honest anyhow!

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
I dont think Simpson will get called into 6Nations unless Care or Youngs get injured.
It would be worse for me if I lost JDV because I wont have an inside centre to play during the 6Nations.

I'm going to pass on Crane mate, not sure he fits in with how I want to play other than being English.

Need a replacement 12 to let him go or I'll be short in the centres but Rob Miller interests as an EQ option coming back my way

Re: Leicester Tigers 2012/13
JOC untouchable....covers too many positions for me.
Read best 8 in world imo, I don't think Pocock is quite at that level. I'm also assuming you'll need Brussow back and that Read/JOC are add ons??

Pocock & Brussow best fetchers but not best 7's imo. Not yet anyway. All opinions anyway mate.
Doesn't make sense for me to have 3 world class 7's in my team, all SH lol
Would have to base deal around:
Brussow + Barritt + ?
Pocock + 36 + ?

I see Pocock & Bruss behind McCaw in that order, how could I lose probably the worlds best back or best 8 for a tiny improvement at 7?!?!
You want a lot more than I could give, we're obviously going nowhere mate. No harm in sacking it off before we get annoyed with each other lol

I've just lost the form flyhalf in the world for Steyn. Nacewa is decent but not at the level, pretourious wouldn't start for me and Efs would be a release. Need genuine world class back to let Steyn go

Might want to look at Javiah Pouh in your academy, friend saw him play a few times this season and apparently very good. Think he;s already in the England age group settings at u18. NZ'er and I think he plays at centre.

Not seen much U20 past England, he could be rubbish for all I know so couldn't lose Williams for him (I'm sure he's not lol)
I want to say 36 but kinda pointless for you. Williams could be available but need an improvement somewhere.

N f s
Want 2 ball playing 8s who offer lineout hence
Hari and heaslip
If one out injured want similar to replace
Reason I bought Scott scottIsh 12 as berrick Barnes like replacement
Also my favourite player of last decade with burger so could not lose him.
I like to target lineout so have always had a backrow player who can help ie hari , bonnaire and now heaslip
