Interesting to see that for the 2nd consecutive week Kalman is prefered over Welsh at tighthead, can't say i have been impressed by Welsh at TH since his comeback, with Low doing well Grant struggling at LH and when Cusack comes back, i don't see the point in keeping Welsh at TH, he can be a destructive LH.

Welsh does seem to be slipping down the pecking order. Completely ignored by Scotland in favour of Murray Low, and now Glasgow don't seem to rate him either.
The switching of Welsh to tighthead and Low to loosehead doesn't seem have worked particularly well.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 29 November
I have never been at the Liberty stadium and seen the Ospreys beat Glasgow at home. And I have never stayed till the end of a Glasgow game, because each time I have been so disgusted by the pathetic efforts of the Ospreys players I have walked out of the stadium early.
I will also say that Glasgow is the only team I have left early for as well, so it's a very rare occurance!
Last time I left after 60 minutes and we lost 28-10 and we were lucky to keep them down to that score! My brother in law is giving this one a miss, I'll turn up as I haven't missed a game for 3 years, I just hope the team does this time.
Our last win against Glasgow was in March 2010! I get the feeling I'm going to be leaving the stadium and very annoyed man tonight.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 29 November
I'll be heading down to the Liberty in a couple of hours but not expecting to get anything out of this one. I remember last year's fixture, it was in September and part of a losing run for us, went expecting a win and came home disappointed and with a lesson in not to underestimate the opposition. Glasgow were better than us all over the park, a real solid outfit. O's got better after that but never recovered enough to make the play-offs.
It was a horrrible night, cold and bleak, the rugby from the Ospreys was even worse. There were only about 4 Glasgow fans in there and they made more noise than the 6000 or so home fans ....and they happened to be sat near us, just to rub it in even further.
I'd like to think we could get our own back tonight but can't see it with the players we have missing. Matthew Morgan's been dropped by the look of things, I'm not surprised by that. He seems to excel with 10 minute cameo's but give him a full game to make an impression and he is flakey at best. He's just not making the step up. Agree with the comments from a previous poster too about Rhys Webb, what the hell has happened to him? I think he must be trying too hard to impress and get his place back but nothing is coming off for him. He needs to get his feet back on the floor and get back to basics. Fussell frustrates the hell out of me, how I would love to swap him for Liam Williams!
I'm looking forward to seeing a few players - Morgan Allen seems pretty solid at 8 and I hope to see Dirksen get some ball.
I think Steve Tandy (Coach) is doing alright though, doesn't seem afraid to drop players if they underperform, no matter who they are. Let's hope we perform tonight and I come home surprised again ...for the right reasons this time!

Welsh Brothers (and sisters) it will depend which Glasgow turns up - anything like last week and you will walk away with 5 easy points. This in a week where your political leaders were in Scotland sticking their unwelcome oar in - thought it was a democracy ? However I had better watch out or RDW will give me a big telling off !

If Biggar was playing I'd probably call this one for the Ospreys, but I feel once again the WRUs controversial fourth Autumn test will hurt the regional sides.

It's your game, you'll be the only team on the pitch, the Ospreys never want to play against Glasgow!21st Century Schizoid Man wrote:Welsh Brothers (and sisters) it will depend which Glasgow turns up - anything like last week and you will walk away with 5 easy points. I'd rather be playing Ulster or Leinster away, than Glasgow at home. Hell I'd even prefer to play Samoa in Cardiff!

Don't get me wrong, I like Sam Davies as a player, I just feel this Os side is rather underpowered. Not just at 10; but Biggar can drag teams through poor performances and out the other side.
Glasgow are not playing all that well, just have a stronger team out overall.

Really excited to see this Glasgow team, would prefer Weir but heyho.
Niko injured? Any word on Dunbar?
Shifty, you say the last time the O's beat Glasgow was March 10? Don't believe that, just sounds ridiculous.

That would have been in may 10.
You left them to us in the playoffs the last 2 years. and hard to put away they were too.
In between they had a crap season which you must have beaten them during surely?
I may just have to go and look it up....

What are the fixture makers thinking? This should be one of the marquee fixtures of the season and it is put in the weekend when everyone and their mother knew that Wales were having an extra international. Poor by the Rabo, should have known better. This kind of Scot/Welsh game is one of the fixtures that should be piped across all markets. Any of the matchups between the top 5(ish) teams Glasgow/Osprey/Ulster/Munster/Leinster should be advertised and shouted from the hill tops across all markets.

Re: Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors, 29 November
Just checked.
Yeah there was that playoff in May 10. And then you hammered them 36 7 during their sh1t season in March 11. Probably the one you were thinking of. So you have only lost 4 in a row.
PS you must have missed at least 1 game in the last 3 years

Doesn't sound like a brass band. Sounds like pumped in music Jen. No, I dislike the bands but I could understand that. Definitely sounds like its through the PA though. Ospreys doing well so far. What a weird game. Basically kicking tennis, Glasgow look hugely impressive.
Then they make a mistake and Davies clips over a kick.

They are Poopie. It's so frustrating as a warriors supporter, they have scraped by all season and now they have been found out. It's embarrassingWelsh Magician wrote:What's up with Glasgow so far? Don't they realise we have 17 players missing or what?

In that advert at for the 1872 cup, Kellock had a 12 on his back? Maybe that'll be Townsends master plan come December? Kellock, midfield?

I have said this on numerous occasions, Tito Tibaldi is not good enough, he cannot tackle and his decision making is poor at best, it is criminal that he is taking up a WQ place infront of the umpteen WQ scrum halfs the Ospreys have.

I am fed up hearing excuses, the warriors performance is dire. They need to have a good long hard look at themselves.

The Ospreys 9 is very poor, should get him off before he screws the game up he was responsible for all of Glagow's point so far.
