Re: London Wasps
Scays was one of the best 7's in the AP last year, is English and available all year, and you get a quality English full back, where you are really lacking depth, in that deal.
Not sure what else I can offer mate, thought it wad pretty fair for a player who has a serious injury and is a risk as he might not come back as good.
No worries though, guess we'll leave it.

Re: London Wasps
Sorry mate, a wouldn't add any of them, I would already be losing one England international in Brown, I wouldn't throw in another one for a player who is long term injured and a gamble to buy anyway.
Like I said, I'll leave it, seems like we're poles apart in valuation of players.

Easter + Dermody + Amesbury + Clerc
for
Fearns + Mitchell
Top replacements, and bulk your squad a bit with good players. You can afford to lose Fearns with Haskell, Louw, Johnson, Burger, Wilson and DWS (and Easter).

Lol worst I can so is no
Which is what I would say to that offer. Can't think of a better 8 available during the WC than Joubert and Young is my only WC SH.

Re: London Wasps
Arry
Are you serious fella? 'Gulf in class'???
I am offering you 5 full internationals mate. If you think there is a huge gulf in class there I think you are going to struggle to do deals mate. You have identified that depth is an issue for you and in order to improve that you need to get more players than you sell, but you have to realise that if you are selling a player that is say an 8 out of 10, nobody is going to give you two players back who are 8 out of 10's, you are going to have to take a small hit and accept say two 6 out of 10 players, or a 7 out of 10 and a 5 out of 10 player in order to gain depth in your squad.
If you can see any tweaks to the deal I offered which may interest you then come back and let me know mate.

'Arry wrote:Yeah 5 full internationals for 4 in return who are some of my best players. Tom Johnson isn't going anywhere at all neither is TPN. Barnes and Slipper could go but the offer would have to be good mate.
Johnson is not a full international mate, and none of the other 3 are first choice internationals at present. If you are serious about doing deals, building depth and remodelling your squad I think you may have to lower your valuation of some of your players.

I bet you would. I would not do roberts for barnes straight swap. Barnes is a risk fo anyone. If you want to make a sensible offer i will consider it. I have depth so can afford to take a punt

James Slipper, James Haskell and Drew Mitchell
for
Alessandro Zanni, Rodney So'oialo, Ollie Smith, Seilala Mapusua and Mike Brown. ( I would throw in Ireland U20 prop Ruaridh Murphy and Fiji international Josh Matavesi as well if you wanted them.)
If you don't like the deal then suggest a tweak rather than an outright no, although I wouldn't tweak too much as I see it as a fair deal with you getting depth as well as full internationals for three players, one of whom is potential rather than anything else (Slipper), one who seems to divide opinion at times (Haskell) and one who is long term injured (Mitchell).
