Scarlets v Racing Metro
No topic yet? I find it very strange that the Turks pull off a historic win against a big spending French club, yet there is very little coverage.
From an Osprey supporter, congratulations - a damn good win
It's good to see even with all the poop that's going around at the moment a Welsh region can pull off a great win.
Good luck for the rest of the season

Was a very good win, their line out went really well and Ball would be a really could call up next week.

I'm surprised there aren't any Turks on here shouting about it - not many Welsh teams win in France.
I'm glad it wasn't working that well when they played us on 3rd Jan
If this crap with RRW and WRU can be sorted, perhaps we can restart building.
I know Priestland got MOTM but he kicked soo much away again - is this under instruction? It's something Wales used to do all the time.
Fair play for Kristian Phillips' try - good effort.

Not to take anything away from the Scarlets, but Racing are complete and utter garbage given the player they have. Absolute laughing stock spending that sort of cash with the performances these guys are putting in for them.

The blues won there 2 years ago when Racing was probably better. Sexton and Lydiate were even poorer than in previous appearances. They lack patience with ball in hand and make too many handling errors. Just a barbarian side without the fun. Kudos to Scarlets who made the most of their opportinities in the 2nd half.

I can't believe Sexton didn't take the 3 points with nearly 20 mins on the clock - who makes a call like that?

Yep this doesn't take anything away from scarlets. Going to Paris and winning is a great result however you look at it

Huw, I think there are very few Scarlets fans on here anymore, there used to be a fair few in the past, but I think the whole priest knocking, slating over George north issue etc, has led to most posting elsewhere. I am gutted I didn't get to see the game, waiting for s4c highlights tonight.
But to be fair when Racing played at pys they were lucky to get avdraw off us, so I will admit they are not as good a side as they are billed. But after three should/could have won games against Munster and Ospreys I am glad to see us manage to avoid snatching a loss from the jaws of victory again.

They are to be honest. Reminds me of Toulon in their early days. You can buy class players all you want, there's only so much the team can do without a, sole, shall we say. Teams like Ulster and Leinster have that unity and reap the rewards by putting in consistent performances.
