Genuinely sad news emerging this evening that Oscar winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has passed away. Personally am a huge fan of his work, brilliant actor. Absolutely brilliant in Capote, The Master and countless other films. A brilliant actor who will be missed by any film fan

Another person lost to drugs........

Another tragic waste.........

Remember him in Boogie nights.....

Like it was yesterday.........Still can't feel any pain now....

Let's not get carried away john! Agree with everything else you say though. One of the best actors of his generation.

Ha ok, but him on the basketball court is really funny, "let it rain!".

Agreed, absolutely loved him and DeNiro in FLAWLESS...funny and touching and great perfomances from both actors.
