Re: Interview with MVP
just finished listening to it. Excellent interview, MVP spoke really well, sounded natural and approachable and some nice back and forth dialogue between him and Adam. Thanks!
I`m not sure what MVP can do purely as a talent to move the needle, if guys like Sting, Kurt Angle and Hardy have failed to really boost ratings and PPV sales. No disrespect to any of the wrestlers intended. However, if they are open to his involvement or advice backstage and if once he`s established himself on the roster, he`s allowed to have a bigger creative role in booking and direction of the product then possibly we might see some changes for the better in the product.
It definitely sounds as if he has a genuine passion for the business and is excited about being in TNA. I`m looking forward to his Lethal Lockdown match in Miami. In terms of expansion and market growth and profit, I wonder what the result would be if TNA charged UK fans for their PPVs? The UK market is one of their strongest and the annual road to Lockdown tour has become an established part of the TNA calander. However, how loyal are UK fans? If they had to buy the PPV, say from Sky boxoffice would they do it?
I also wonder if there isn`t another TV station or time slot that TNA could move to in the US? I know Monday and Friday are out of the question as they are taken by WWE, but what about Tuesday or Wednesday? I wonder whether there would be any scheduling conflict there?
I also had another thought about filming the house shows they do and then showing them on their youtube channel for a small fee. That would give the diehard fans more TNA programming and might make them a little more money in the process. I doubt TNA will ever put on two shows a week like WWE, but having the house shows on youtube would help put over the roster as they don`t have the space to showcase everyone on impact.

I think charging in the uk would kill the audience altogether.
I like the idea of the house shows though
