This time next year..
Who do you think will number 1?,Who do you think will win the World Championship and will we see the the retirements of past greats like Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry.
How do you see this year and the start of next going?

Re: This time next year..
I can sadly see only one thing happening next year. John Higgins will win a 5th World Title.

Re: This time next year..
I think this will be a big year for the youngsters. Judd and Ding are my picks for stardom.
I think Neil Robertson will have a better year aswell.

I can see Hendry retiring but not Davis. Simple reason is Davis is more prepared to play the qualifiers than Hendry, and doesn't beat himself up over his decline in form.
I think Hendry will need a change of mindset before attempting to get to major tournaments via qualifiers. Maybe some time away from the game while doing commentary work, and then coming back refreshed. The problem is when he is not winning, Hendry's love for the game is far far lower than Davis.
I don't think Higgins will have a good season. I just have a hunch that his play this year has been largely to do with trying to prove himself to people after the recent scandal. I am going to go for Williams to win the World Title this year. I think Judd will win tournaments this year but won't get as far in the World Championship as other players would have now sussed his way of playing and will try to keep him contained. I think Robertson is a good shout as well.

Hendry taking time away from the game may be a bad thing he'll slip out of the top 16 and if no luck in a few tournaments I could see him retiring. Falling out the top 16 could be a good thing in a way though he'll then try alot harder at his Snooker, practice more and the qualifiers could help if he's winning them.
I think Selby will win the World Championship this year. His all-round just seems to keep on improving and his performance this year against Hendry was exceptional. It's only a matter of time before he wins a world title. Would agree that Judd will win tournaments. And also agree that Robertson will have a big year. Big fan of Robertson when he brings his A-game he can beat anyone. Sadly last year he didn't though.
Re: This time next year..
Trump will certainly win tournaments. But I'm not so sure about Selby, who seems too negative to compete with the best.

I think that Higgins will be number 1 again next year and he will be the man to beat at the worlds. Sadly i feel that Ronnie is dropping off and i dont feel that it will be long before he will be out of the top 16.
Robbo, Trump, Allen and Ding will be the movers next season i feel.

Hi Billy. I see 606 finally bit the dust. Going to be missed. I don't know about you but I can't even access ja606. Maybe their server got overloaded. At least this site doesn't have that problem.

Not on the snooker section Liam but it will only be a matter of time. Must admit to being dragged into some unsavory posts on the 606 by some true WUMs. I hope that they dont join here.
Not long to go indeed, i am certainly looking forward to it.

Hello all old 606ers who have joined here. I don't think JA606 exists anymore.
I hope Big Robbo has a good year. I'm a huge Higgins fan, but I like Robbo's style of play. I can see Judd winning the Masters. Ronnie? Who knows. I hope Matthew Stevens can win something this season. And hopefully a surge up the rankings by Ryan Day. I'd also like to see Selby doing something.
World number one by the end of next season: Higgins.

JA606 certainly seems to have crashed TSC, it was good while it lasted but this place is excellent as well.
I too see Higgins being #1, he is a class player.

I just looked at their twitter page and they say the site was the subject of an illegal DDOS attack. They claim the police are involved .
Also read not606 may be to blame. Who knows?

Jeez. What is the world coming to when rival replacements for 606 are attacking each other?

Thanks. I stayed with real 606 before it died. I suppose this is my new hunting ground and will take pride of place on my firefox tab bar where 606 used to sit, second on the left.

There has been a lot of site hacking going on lately. Those that do it are really sad individuals.
As much as i love snooker, tennis will take pride of place today as i will be watching Andy Murray hopefully beat Rafa in the RG GS.

Looks like ja606 is up an running again. Probs too late thou as most peeps have found there home now. Decent site this for tennis and wrestling, snookers a bit quiet but that time of year I guess. Still haven't looked at the footi section yet. I'm still scarred by the 606 footi section (shiver).
