I will be online at 12pm Monday trying to get 4 tickets but have warned my mates it may sell out quick.
I will probably get the £80 tickets but fully expect to watch it on the screens and just soak up the atmosphere.

I watched Bruno v McCall at the old Wembley stadium. Can't remember how much the cheap seats were but we were in them and the views were fine. You obviously can't see as much detail as the TV but it was a cracking night and the atmosphere was brilliant.
I can't imagine the views are that much different in the new Wembley (when does it stop being new?), even in the cheap seats.

Ha, sucker, Eddie is not even setting up big screens, he has two 14 inch black and white portables above the ring. One is pointing away from the crowd and the other is going to be showing ITV2.

Eddie will probably also just stream the fight through a dial up connection on these TVs so it spends 5 minutes buffering for every 5s of live action.

Rowley will love it...Eddie will be showing grainy mobile phone video of Jabby sparring with Kell Brook and claiming it's lost footage of Burley. Rowley will pay and extra £200 for a copy.

Nobody buys your smokescreen.
And all your post shows is a) Wembley's running cost; and b) How much more desperate Wembley would be to host.
You're a waffler.
And you're a transparent bullsh!tter. Point?
Yeah and you think Wembley can be got for cheaper than the Emirates.
Do you advise people on financial matters? I hope not.
No, I've speculated. Whereas you have definitively stated, whilst providing neither evidence nor sound reasoning for your postulation.
What I advise people on, thankfully, is nothing to do with event management and stadia hire.
partially due to slashing running costs by £10m - down from £66.8m in 2007 to £57m last year.
These figures demonstrate running Wembley is not cheap.
AND..........??????????????????
Surely, as an (assumed) intelligent human being you can't be using that as the sole pillar to your argument??
A figure in isolation is totally meaningless without a comparable to contrast it with.
Emirates may cost £100m a year to run, or maybe £10m a year. Who knows? But without the comparison your feeble attempts and trying to sustain this charade to hide your Eddie-bashing are laughable.
You have decided to go to the fight so you want to have a goodnight. You are hardly objective. I wonder if Rowley is going?
As to you and others that are saying I am Eddie bashing I say I have argued that Wembley is not a good venue to host boxing, I would say this no matter who the promoter is.
I have said Wembley is not a cheap venue to hire and anyone with a titter of wit would recognize this. If Webley costs a million a week to run and it doesn't hold events every week I think most can understand Eddie shelled out to get Wembley. If the average ticket price is say £80 and he sells 60,000 tickets then his ticket revenue alone is 80 x 60000 = £4.8M. Then there is the profits from food and drink which is possibly part of the deal with Wembley and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a nice array of merchandising. If Eddie hits 80,000 at an average of £70 a ticket he lands £5.6M. Add in 500,000 PPV sales at £15 and that's £7.5M.
Guesses.......guesses.........guesses.........
Still absolutely totally and utterly meaningless without comparison.
You're talking about your backside unless you can actually prove anything you're saying - by COMPARING it with one of your so called infinitely better stadia options.
So the Emirates is cheaper to hire than Wembley and the views in the Emirates wouldn't be better.
The thing about common sense is it isn't that common.

The thing about sense is you still haven't demonstrated an ounce of it.
So desperate to Eddie-bash you clearly can't even think rationally. YOU said Emirates was cheaper to hire yet have put forward NOTHING to support your contention.
The views in Emirates may be marginally better, but Jeff, as someone with a clearly more informed opinion than you having watched boxing in football stadia, has pointed out - the view in anything but the best seats it always pretty pants anyway. Even if they were definitively better, they would only be better than the 20,000 seats that Emirates couldn't sell because they don't exist, the seats which allow the event to be more fairly priced.
Stick it at Emirates for fractionally better views and stop anyone with a budget under 50 quid from going. Great economics, well done Strongy
Try again.......

The views you admit are better at the Emirates than at Wembley.......noted.
You are presuming Eddie is going to sell more than 60,000 tickets and the cheapest tickets for the fight at the Emirates would be £50. Some big assumptions from you there, bigger than anything I have speculated.
Wembley cheaper than the Emirates you do make me smile.

Have you proved differently?
No.
You haven't.
I'm saying that the views may be better, however it's irrelevant as a comparison as the equivalent seats wouldn't exist at Emirates.
Keep smiling all you want, you're only making yourself look stupid here. You can't back up a word you say and are having to blindly speculate and make things up to construct a semblance of an argument.

So still a no then?
Still can't do anything better than quote how expensive Wembley was a few years ago with no comparison to any where else?
And still can't even find sound reason or logic to event theoretically support your supposition (in the painfully clear absence of empirical backing)??

...and does wearing a skirt and make-up automatically make a man gay? Transvestite, yes, transsexual, quite possibly but gay? All irrelevant as I firmly believe I've neither the legs for skirts or the bone structure for make-up (not that I've tried...except that one time...OK, twice)
I'm amazed the weight of your ignorance hasn't crippled you to the degree that you'd qualify for a special blue badge for your car Izzy. Still being disabled, you might also get a better seat at the Grove/Froch fight so not a total loss fella.
