Under the Spotlight - Robin Reborn
Q&A – 6CW Under the Spotlight
Today’s edition of Under the Spotlight sees us welcome a young star, one of the new breed of 6CW who sits aside veterans like Enforcer, Hobo and even Percy Percival as the company continues to go from strength to strength
IV: Robin Reborn. Thankyou for joing us
RR: Pleasure
IV: Let's get started straight away shall we. What is your earliest memory?
RR: Man, who knows?! My first wrestling memory is breaking my arm at the age of 7 trying to prove to the teenage boys that I could wrestle with them. I moonsaulted off my shed onto one of them, got it all wrong and landed on my arm bad. I still rolled over for the pin, but he no sold!
IV: What did you want to be when you grew up?
RR: I was one of those kids. I wanted to be a wrestler who jumped off things and did it all different. So many guys will come in here and say “wrestler” too, but I wanted to be my own kind of wrestler. I wanted Jim Ross to scream in shock, but real shock man! Mankind off the cell shock.
IV: How did you get into wrestling?
RR: Older cousins were big fans. I did whatever they did, man. And they watched it all. I saw all the clips of the big names, but it was the idiots doing the risktaking madness that drew me in.
IV: What is your career highlight?
RR: I can jump off anything, but coming in to this company and making my debut was the jubblies. The anticipation, the adrenaline rush; you can’t beat the feeling of destiny in front of you.
IV: Tell us something about you that the readers won’t know?
RR: I was second in line to Jason Statham for the lead role in Crank
IV: What do you do to relax?
RR: Horse Racing is my big hobby.
IV: What three things can you not live without?
RR: Hangtime, Risk, Heights
IV: If you weren’t a wrestler what would you be?
RR: Your job seems cool, I’ll be you!
IV: What is your biggest regret?
RR: So far, the fact I never toppled Ojore bugs me.
IV: Where do you want to be in five years?
RR: I dunno man, I’m here for a good time not a long time
IV: Thank you Robin that has been fun
RR: Glad you enjoyed it
