R.I.P Bob Crow
Sadly he passed away this morning. Was a great servent for workers rights and stood up to the rich in order to serve and protect the working poor.
He passed away at the very young age of 52 due to a heart attack. Such a tragedy and I am sure his family will be in shock over the news and will be devestated that they lost a loved one at such a young age.

He screwed the poor and was exorbitantly rich himself.

Right...
1. Political posts are not allowed, is it difficult to understand? A condolence thread is fine, that is not an excuse for others to politicise it.
2. If you report a post for not being suitable, replying to it is not a good idea as it shows you're knowingly breaking site rules.
3. If you Foe someone that is great for the rest of us as we don't have to put up with more squabbling - do not use it as an excuse to try and antagonise someone you have ignored.

I never intended to create a political thread, I just wanted to offer my condolences, it is why I never brought up anything political in the subject.
I posted that tophat was on my foe list to avoid turning the thread into a political discussion.
Interesting that tophat would report a condolence thread and then post a reply on it, but that is the character he is and why he is on my ignore list.
But like I said this thread was just designed for people to offer condolences to such a well known man, if people disagree with his political agenda then they don't have to post because this thread was not desiged for political debate.

Re: R.I.P Bob Crow
The tone is clearly political, designed to ignite debate about what was a divisive political figure.
Ergo an even-handed and fair approach would be to delete it the same as all the other 'political threads' have been.

Re: R.I.P Bob Crow
His death caught me by surprise because it was only yesterday that he gave an interview on TV, but I suppose that is the brutal world that we live in where loved ones can be taken away from you at any minute.

I am sure his family will be in shock, Bob Crow was only 52 which is a very young age to die from a heart attack.

True he was a large gentleman but even then, at 52 that is still very young to die from a heart attack, especially as he gave an interview on tv just hours before his death and seemed in good health then.

Re: R.I.P Bob Crow
I knew a gym owner who used to compete in the Masters events who boasted to me he'd just had the all clear in a check-up from the Doctor........
The fact he was taking insulin and about five different other steroids not withstanding...
A couple of days later he had three heart attacks..

Won't be shedding any tears for this one.
Maybe some sympathy for his family is as much as I will stretch to.

Re: R.I.P Bob Crow
Can I aks top hat, in constantly testing the fence/poking the moderation team about their stance on political topics what is your end game?
What do you think the best case scenario is from this? I know how I personally would anticipate it ending but am curious as to what you expect to achieve.

Either I get bored or banned, not sure which comes first......
Am right tho, a ban would put that beyond doubt.
But I anticipate I'll be getting bored sooner than that. Being right can be tiresome.....

Well, I guess his uncompromising attitude got up a lot of people noses but his members got the best deal they possibly could so he did his job properly
R.I.P to another divisive figure and condolences to his family.
