Problems with site & Iphone IOS 7
Hi,
I'm currently having problems with 606v2 and my Iphone.
Every minute or so whilst looking on the site I'm redirected to the Apps store and the William Hill app download.
I've read up a bit and it seems to be an issue with certain websites and some advertisements.
Any info how to stop this? It's really annoying!

I've not come across it. Are you using the mobile site or the desktop site?

Just tried to reply and it done it again!
I'm using the desktop site, do William Hill advertise on here as it's an issue with that apparently.

We use google adsense, so the advertisements are different for each user. Do you use William Hill on your phone? If you switch to the mobile site you can still post and won't get redirected, at least you can use the site while we look in to it.

I'm not a fan of the mobile site but I'll give it a go, thanks Hampo.
I've never been on the William Hill app or site.

I am using IPad and I am redirected to a dating app!
I think the problem is as follows:

The advertising company generating the problems are Crobo.com
The following link is left in the browser address bar after the unwanted redirect.

I'm getting the same problem. If I go on the what's Moffet up to now thread in club rugby using my iPad it kicks me off Safari and on to the App store with some spurious App. This has happened to me quite a few times on various threads now. I knocked off Java script which bought me more time reading the threads but the problem still happens (just delayed). It's very annoying and is making the site unuseable on an iPad. I could run in mobile but I hate the mobile version.

Re: Problems with site & Iphone IOS 7
It is not wifi that is causing the problem as such. When using wifi you have a different internet address to when using your phones network. The advertisers are serving different addresses to different internet addresses. Only some of the advertisements contain the offending (actually illegal) code.Sgt_Pooly wrote:Yea I'm having same issues in iphone but only when connected to wifi. Until we've got it fixed lads you'll have to use the mobile version, to be fair there's nothing wrong with it.

Question Why when signed out does the "The forum for all serious sport fans; from football to cricket, rugby to golf, boxing to tennis, motorsport to darts; debate the big sporting and non-sporting issues here."
Have hyperlinks to things like this?
http://viglink.pgpartner.com/search.php?form_keyword=cricket < There is also a darts one too.

I keep getting this on iOS as well. One of the ads is redirecting to the app store, launching pop ups etc. Unusable on mobile for me
