Well Hogg given 3 week ban, I guess his remorse and good discipline record spared him a worse sentence. Seeing his team get pummeled was quite enough punishment already.
He's not a dirty player but his actions were rash and stupid. I'm glad Biggar wasn't hurt but even more glad apologised to Dan, Garces and the fans who went to the game.
Hopefully a lesson learnt.

Likewise I agree - it was a red card offence and the ref got it right. Hogg admitted as much, and I'm pleased he apologised to Biggar, the ref and all involved. It was a stupid and dangerous thing to do, and the best thing about the whole incident is that no lasting damage to Biggar resulted from it.
He's a young man, and he needs to learn to conduct himself better on the pitch. Hopefully he's learnt his lesson and that's the last we'll see of that sort of thing from Hogg. He's an extremely talented player with a big future.
