I can't believe you are offering Banahan to Mat 'Arry. He is the worst rugby player in the history of the world according to Mat!

Mat, I posted this on the domestics thread, but if you are releasing Hanks for £1m, I will give you £2m for him mate.

hi mate yeh cheers for that i did have an idea of it so let kalafamoni go. dont know much about him he might be a hit for glos this year but as he has come up from the championship and isnt that young i dont think its too risky letting him go.

SJE hasn't marked it up yet or included it in the budgets, so as with others when they have put a release on and someone has stepped in and said they want him I would say he is fair game still mate. What would you do for him?

Re: Gloucester
Kahui just starting to struggle as he seems to play a few great games then gets injured for a while, such a shame as he's nail AB spot without doubt. Still rate him just not as high as I would if fit and firing.
Front 5 looking tasty though, can see Gray pushing Hartley this season he's been immense.

Re: Gloucester
That's my only concern with Gray, he could do with adding a bit more bulk. I think he's a better player than Hartley but just needs testing on the Int stage. Him and Youngs will really battle it out this season.
Been hugley impressed with Robson too, him and Parling have been great this season. Robson will be there or there abouts for England I think this season.

Re: Gloucester
For me robson is same as Parling 2 great players but England will never win anything with them.
Robson a 4.5 and decent lineout and very good carrier and tackler.
Parling out and out 5 great lineout zero carrying but excellent work rate.
Both lack int class. Robson great captain for Saxons or to bring through players. Palmer better than both of them. Last nights rugby club feature on him very exact.
A leader and great at unsung work with more class ball in hand and offloading

Re: Gloucester
Would you want anything for it? It's basically so I can give Tips a bit of a rest as he's played a few games. Mainly use Saull from the bench. Only need him till Higgs comes back!

Sorry mate, i like nick Wood, but there's no value in that deal for me as I have two EQ looseheads as it is, whereas I only have one EQ flanker in Johnson.

Happy with options tbh but always nice to have English and Wood is useful as always available.
If Kahui gets back to fitness you could be in trouble in the centres, having all SH is an issue.

Dont see him listed in your squad, but was looking to recall Elliot Daly as my team is going to be quite short on players during the AIs!

Re: Gloucester
I think I might be putting out a really young team come these AI's - think it could involve Ford, Daly and Wade.
Daly definitely needs to work on his defensive positioning, he can hit pretty well (can't remember the Gloucester player he nailed big time!).
Will be looking forward to these AI's being over!

Re: Gloucester
Just a quick stat Matt. Sexton has a kicking percentage of 71% so far this season including 7 from 7 in his last match. Bit lower then normal but not particularly struggling

Re: Gloucester
It is the weak part of his game though SJE. Not to many issues in the rest of his game.
I got slated when Cooper was kicking at 70%, I thought it was alright but took some stick in predo's for it. For me kicking can often depend on the confidence of the kicker. Stephen Jones for example very conservative, doesn't try for kicks which he is unlikely to get.

Cooper was kicking in the 50/60s though when he was first being slated. Remember the stats because I was one of the first to bring it up!
Sexton is hitting 71% which is down on his normal percentages over the last few years but its not particularly struggling is it?

Re: Gloucester
Thats fair enough Matt. I'd back Pienaar too he is a metronomic kicker for Ulster. Can do no wrong when he has the Ulster shirt on. Just took issue with the Sexton struggling with his goal kicking. Stats aren't as high this year so far for him but they are still pretty strong
