Biarritz - PICK AND MIX
Saw this on another site, with Biarritz looking certain of dropping out of the top 14 is there any players you wouldn't mind your club signing if they were to come available?
Jean-Philippe Genevois Hooker France
Arnaud Héguy Hooker France
Ben Whittaker Hooker Australia
Fabien Barcella Prop France
Ben Broster Prop Wales
Francisco Gómez Kodela Prop Argentina
Alexandre Menini Prop France
Thomas Synaeghel Prop France
Eugene van Staden Prop South Africa
Thibault Dubarry Lock France
Erik Lund Lock Norway
Pelu Ian Taele Lock Samoa
Joshua Furno Flanker Italy
Benoît Guyot Flanker France
Magnus Lund Flanker England
Tanguy Molcard Flanker France
Ueleni Fono 8 Tonga
Imanol Harinordoquy 8 France
Raphaël Lakafia 8 France
Yann Lesgourgues SH France
Dimitri Yachvili SH France
Julien Peyrelongue FH France
Daniel Waenga FH New Zealand
Benoît Baby Centre France
Seremaia Burotu Centre Fiji
Charles Gimenez Centre France
Paul Perez Centre Samoa
Damien Traille Centre France
Iain Balshaw Wing England
Aled Brew Wing Wales
Takudzwa Ngwenya Wing United States
Paul Couet-Lannes Fullback France
Joe Pietersen Fullback South Africa
My pick would be Yachvili to cover for Stringer.
and Balshaw as squad cover if Henson goes. (just to see him in BB&W again)

Joe Pietersen would be a great FB option for us to replace Bendy on the cheap. Available all year, solid under high ball, great kicking game.
Furno would be a briliant signing for someone, but we can't sign any more back row players!

I think Pietersen will be a target for a few teams.

Off the point a bit, but am wondering how Blanco's ego is going to survive down in the second division. Jeez, how the mighty have fallen!

Re: Biarritz - PICK AND MIX
We've had our fill from the Treviso pick n mix. Some good players there. I'm an old and Yachvilli aren't that young anymore but are still quality. Lund will be sought after as well.

Re: Biarritz - PICK AND MIX
I think Dragons fans would be kind to see Ben Broster coming their way.
Erik Lund is another one who could be usefull on a 1 or 2 years deal.
Not really impressed by Furno to be honest one of those player who doesn't really fit the bill for either lock or Blindside, could be worth a punt as a utility forward though.
Some of these players have already signed somewhere though like Barcella to Toulon.

Re: Biarritz - PICK AND MIX
it's interesting that Nick de Luca just signed for them while Blanco has "extended" his job for 6 years. an guess who's gonna coach them next year ? the Lievremont bros
Brew, Genevois , Lesgourgues Gomez Kodela , Peyrelongue , Ménini , Traille, Héguy are confirmed to leave
pretty sure that yachvili, Lakafia, Thomas, Nwengya and Barcella are on their way too.
the rest is either too young or too old

Re: Biarritz - PICK AND MIX
I would like any of the 8's or wings to be honest
Would like to see Ben Broster to Dragons or Cardiff as well, watched him vs Worcester and he still has some steam left int he engine, descent a scrum time as well
