Anybody else feel sorry for Jose Mourinho ??
Poor old Jose may have to field a weakened team against Liverpool.....That's right guys God forbid with Jose's ego Liverpool will actually deserve to win the title...Yes Jose will have to surrender it for the good of his Champions league attempt....Poor old Chelsea jobbed out of winning a league they have little chance of winning anyway..
Mourinho the Martyr strikes again................God forbid you take points off them or beat them fair and square either..
West Ham - Played 19th century football..
Arsenal - are boring ...........
City - Can afford all these strikers and we are little team....
Aston Villa - Shafted by Foy
Sunderland - Shafted by Riley, Dean and Lord knows who else.........
Everton - Decisions cost Chelsea.......
Rogers/ Lambert = Immature....
Pellegrini is Pellegrino for a laugh and can't do Math...!!
Wenger is a specialist failure !!
Nice Man too.........
Never understood the allure of Mourinho as I can see what he is..............A bitter, egotistical, sneering little Man..
Wenger was right he is an embarrassment to Chelsea but unfortunately the owner of the club lacks the class to see it also !!
For sure the guy is a top Manager but that's all he is............The most despised manager on the continent and probably here too and no doubt something he's proud of.........Unfortunately..
No class.........and I feel sorry for him..

People used to despise Brian Clogh, it wasn't until Clough stopped being successful that he was seen in a better light, when he was a genuine threat and he knew he was that good rivals hated him.

Except Clough prided himself on playing good clean football and Jose prides himself on boring the opposition to death. Jose is a great manager no question, he gets results and improves teams. But his hypocrisy and negative football separate him from someone like Clough. I hope Chelsea goes trophyless this season and the specialist in failure wins the FA cup that will be the best response to his commentary. Jose is terrible for football, not so much for his mouth but because he wins and wins in a boring fashion typically.

I'm not here to defend Mourinho, I watched his very talented team dive and cheat all the way through the Uefa Cup Final in Seville in 2003 while he instructed them to waste every possible second, I'm amused no end when he complains when others do it to his teams

Everything that comes out of his mouth is Poopie that's why i don't take anything on board.
His fielding a weekend team is probably just mind games which would have no effect on what team or how Liverpool will set out to play on Sunday.

I think that much of the rubbish he talks comes under the category of gamesmanship. Most the time, I think he's simply trying to ease pressure on his team, or get under his opponents' skins. The stuff about fielding a weakened team against Liverpool is a case in point. There's no way he'll field anything but his strongest team against Liverpool. He's playing mind games, nothing else.
Of course, he's undoubtedly a hypocrite and a bad sport. I also don't like his propensity to play negative football.
All that said, I can't help liking him. I don't feel sorry for him at all though. Mind you, I don't think he'd particularly care if no-one likes him. He's universally respected for his achievements and can justify his actions in his own mind.

In situations outside of football everyone loves Jose. He's a great person to have a drink and a chat with.

It's what people have said GSC. And yes. You can find Jose down my local on most non match days. It's my turn to get the rounds in tonight.
People even say the same about JT and Ashley Cole.

I don't have an interest in football and don't drink either, would I be interested in chatting with him?

The truth is somewhere in the middle, pretty much everyone was looking forward to him coming back.
Now he's here it isn't so rosy as he talks a bit of nonsense and ruffles a few feathers.

Not wrong. People in football have said it many times. They are all very likeable outside of football.
