As a wrestler he is like Steve Blackman

Dracula does end in Whitby in the original novel so Yarmouth is pretty similar in fairness.

About Emmy? Not at all haha, I just thought I should tell her that Liam Wood had a girlfriend as it was only a matter of time before she found a promo and thought who the hell is Emmy!? She wasn't even bothered that I named her after a one night stand...I didn't like the girl, just her name...she used it to take the mick out of me tbf when I mentioned that Emmy's second name was Matthews because of William Regal, she said that I was "Gay for wrestling"

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
i have a better QOTD:
Do you guys have an E-Fed goals that you'd like to achieve or set out to achieve at a certain point in your e-fed career?
Mine for example:
- Win a title
- Win a major title
- Start a tag team (with another member of an e-fed/with a proper name)
- Start a faction (again with the rules above)
- Be named a superstar of the year
- Be named as part of feud of the year
- Become a hall of famer/gain legend status
I don't know if having these goals is sad but I feel like it's cool to work towards them and tick them off...I've done the first two (if we count the EWF World title as a major title before it came to 6CW?)
What do you guys have on your list/what did you have that you've now done?

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Don't have a list as I said to you mate. My only goal is to enjoy writing promos and get some good interaction going with people that share that same goal. Whatever comes from that doesn't really matter. Yeah it is great being world champion or having any other title, but I would swap that for a great and interesting storyline (that gets creative ideas whirling in my head) any day of the week.
Each to their own I suppose. I didn't join this to be a legend. I joined to have a laugh, use my creative writing hobby and interact with varied characters and writers. Anything else is a bonus.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
I guess for me it's more about being entertained by the fed itself, wrestling got boring for me (I guess that comes with age) but I just stopped watching about a year ago and stopped finding it enjoyable. But with efedding (I only have this place for reference) it makes interesting reading and I like being creative with wrestlers and characters. Winning things is good I suppose as I guess it kind of validates your character and RP's as 'good'. But I just want the fed and shows to be entertaining and keep me wanting more.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Yeah agree with you twist, I can 100% say that I enjoyed the creativity, interaction and writing that came with some of the feuds I've been involved in more than when I was world champ and feuding with no one (as my opponent left the fed). Sure I crossed that off your list viper but it was far less enjoyable than having a quality back and forth or storyline feud.
But like I said its also great to get that validation through achievements... Your well on your way to completing your efed bucket list mate

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
In my defence the 'win titles' was the first goals I set out for myself before I'd started because I hadn't done it before so wanted to be validated as 'good'...I've soon realised that being in the bigger and better storylines beats any title...the Costello feud I'm having at the moment and the developments with Plague are the most fun I've had since starting doing this...add to that working with a guy like Blue Dragon over at 6WF and I feel like I'm getting the best of three worlds in terms of storylines and character development.
The stable and tag team is just that I'd love to work with other guys and have to co-exist to create some cool ideas etc.

It's weird because when I started I just wanted to win titles because I've always grown up watching wrestling and the champion was 'the best' but you quickly see that you can have just as much fun in a feud without a title if the people in it are able to challenge you and push you to better yourself as a promoer.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Mine really base around the segments. For my characters, I just want them to stay within their personas. I have a couple ideas bubbling under that could come to fruition later down the line, but nothing major otherwise.
I like writing segments. The goal is to get that wrestler's character over in the way the creator intended. Recently Kurt liked Bam's representation, I know Gazzy messaged me to see how I was seeing Jimmy Phillips so he could incorporate it into his promos etc etc. My main goal is to get Adam reading the Hobo segments and genuinely interested in their direction. From there I would like to one day get more into the booking side.

Having won everything there is to be won in 6WF (I'm one of two Grand Slam Holders in the Feds history) I can categorically say I'd swap all of those titles for an engrossing feud that I enjoyed from start to end.
Which is why I'm enjoying Harris so much, The Saint wasn't a great character really but I made him when I was 15. I'm now 22 and have a better appreciation for the whole process. I'd rather have a character stories are built around rather than one that will everything.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
As a promoer and to use Lex as the example it is not the championship reigns that people remember, it is the feuds and great stories that the creative team weave our characters into. I have won a fair amount of belts but it is the Genesis and Pure Wrestling Alliance storylines that I look back and remember the most
As a booker and writer etc it is the buzz amongst you guys that I enjoy, some of the things that are happening JJ and I have been planning for months and believe me it is hard not to just blurt it out but seeing all of your reactions after the events definitely make it worth the wait

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
I do think you can get too caught up with all the title scene stuff and the quest for championships. Don't get me wrong, I love the Gazzy and Max storyline, and the build up to the big main events at NoG.
However, I am really enjoying Costello v Wood. Prime example of a feud not needing a title. And I actually think people have forgotten the Chamber of Horrors match is for the Hardcore title.....it seems to be made into something a lot bigger.
People agree?

Yeah I totally agree about the chamber match as it was built brilliantly with the crowd basically begging to see it happen, I think three of the men will come away winners with each showing why they have the tag as a 'monster'...I don't think Ojore, Plague or Joshua need to take the title to come out on top...it's going to be an awesome match.
It's a shame Olly didn't stick around because Takeo could have been the perfect person to take the belt as out of the four he's the one who identifies as a wrestler the most.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
Here is one for you Liam......
If that match finished as a no contest (maybe it gets TOO far out of control) would you be disappointed or think it would be the best finish?
Reason I ask is that I agree totally with you that each of them will come out winners and have a massive head of steam heading into the new 6CW wrestling "year".
The title seems to be a bit part to the main story, that has just grown to huge levels. Never has a match, especially as brutal as it could and should be, been so firmly caused by fans reactions. It has become the "peoples" match. Which is bizarre considering all the guys fighting in it are heel.

Re: Out of Character Chat v9
I think it depends on how the no contest happens really but if the match is half as epic as I see it being then I won't be disappointed at all with it, I think it has the potential for match of the night and could provide us with some big shocks...with Takeo looking like he's on the way out he could be the one to pay the ultimate sacrifice and take a monster bump (maybe causing the match to end?).
I love that the fans have been drawn in to wanting a match so bad that it doesn't matter that all of the guys are meant to be hated...I'd say that weirdly Ojore may be the closest to being a face...not that he cares haha

Still say I should have got that trademarked when I put that in my promo. It was a remark in the match the week before I just latched onto. Merchandise sales on the back of it would have made me a (virtual) millionaire

Just failed on an epic scale.
Planned to cook some food in the oven so I could have a cooked lunch before work. Go upstairs, get ready, come down to see the uncooked food not inside the oven...

Sent you the match JJ, didn't think it would be that difficult to write a handicap match
sorry for the lack of promo this week, been mad busy. Might get chance to throw something together but it won't be anything special

You got the G.A.Y.S then? Shouldn't have been that difficult or at least Wood was hoping so. He was after an easy ride.
It's so hard not to do innuendos when mentioning them.

Really sorry to do this last minute but I'd rather do it now then drop it on you guys tomorrow evening/try writing a match now and putting out a sh*t one.

You are more excited that us (if that could possibly be true)!
Have to say the build up to this PPV has been top notch.
QOTD? What about 2?!
1. How about how likely is it, even with the stipulation, that Wood and Costello won't come to blows.
2. Guess the big spot in the Chamber of Horrors match! Who causes it and to who?
My answers are.....1. Very unlikely and
2. Joshua to Takeo......a flying Dumbstruck headbutt from the top of the cage to Takeo resting on a table covered with barbed wire (and glass, tacks, nails, lighting tubes and cheese.....because Takeo has a dairy intolerance)!

Great questions and a little bit gutted I cant add my two cents worth
And yes I am probably more excited, its sad I know but bits of tonight's show and NoG have been in the pipeline for months and we have weaved our way show after show to get to these points - I am equally as nervous but hopefully you will all like what we have in store

Chamber of Horrors = stereo powerbombs off the top of the cage to the announce tables, causing all four men to crash at the same time.
