Help Me Out Guys

What is that film which came out a few years ago about the teenagers who find some sort of crashed comet or extraterrestrial object which gives them telekinetic powers. They start off having fun with it them one of them gets power hungry and turns bad.

I kept seeing the trailers and thinking it was a film I really wanted to see but now I cant remember what it is called.
