Released/Championship/National League/Academy Bidding

First topic message reminder :

This page is for bidding for previously released, Championship, National League and academy players who are not currently in the game. In relation to previously released players this can be any player who has been at a team in the game in any of the previous five seasons. In the event that I cannot remember that player being in the game and being released you will need to hunt for some evidence of this for me. The maximum that I will charge for any player in these categories is £5 million, however if a bidding war ensues you may end up paying more.

I will leave all bids a minimum of 24 hours before answering them.

7m Palu if Fluxy meant him. I must admit I did not register Fluxy meaning Palu.

Imagine Chris did the same.

Hadn't seen Fluxy's bid - have asked people before to put full names of the players as well to make it easier for people accepting the bids etc. Happy to wait and see who Fluxy meant, but at same time Mat did ask him who he was trying to sign.

Pooly would be good for the game if you didnt make the comments you did really, no need fo r them and gets rather tedious and the season hasn't even started yet.

Everyone knows Palu as that is his name. Who is paul ?? As you can see luke was confused

Pooly this is getting a bit ridiculous now, can you please stop with all the comments and looking for arguments, it has got very old and spoils the game for people. Can't see the need for it and be good to go through this season without any issues coming up!

For bids, standard should be name of player and club, but that was mainly to help with the academy buys and stop any issues arising from that at all, quite clear who Palu is, especially after Mat and yourself discussed him earlier in the post.

Let's wait to see who Fluxy was after, if he was after Palu then we move on with Mat's bid for him of £7m and confirm after the 24 hours as per normal.

Chris, I think we moved on when Matt said he'd wait. No need to have a hissy.

Fluxy you get 5 a season, was suggested last year but think this is sthe first time it has been used. Good way of getting cheap players in though.

But it's harder for those of us at the bottom, come the end of the season you guys with the money and bids left will reap the best talent without much opposition. Whereas teams like mine at the bottom are using bids to try and be competitive and bring in young talent. Makes it a little lopsided in my opinion.

Release ryan mills. Injured again for wuss unlucky as had England potential.

A better player than 36 and burns last year and had both on bench behind him

Real shame he went to Worcester, thought an AP would have snapped him up straight away, would have liked him at Wasps.

Has real issues with his injuries and keeping fit. Great young player
