Released/Championship/National League/Academy Bidding

This page is for bidding for previously released, Championship, National League and academy players who are not currently in the game. In relation to previously released players this can be any player who has been at a team in the game in any of the previous five seasons. In the event that I cannot remember that player being in the game and being released you will need to hunt for some evidence of this for me. The maximum that I will charge for any player in these categories is £5 million, however if a bidding war ensues you may end up paying more.

I will leave all bids a minimum of 24 hours before answering them.

Looking forward to that window opening, my tactic this year is to wait until SJE bids on some unknown up and coming Irish player as usually means he's pretty good! Sorry SJE, but thought I'd let you know my plans this year.

He looks a good enforcer. Played well in a pack I think might let England down later in the tournament

I don't think it was full strength??? I'll try and watch tomorrow.

NZ look pretty average, I've heard SA are probably the team to beat.

They were better first half. Backs looked full strength I think beside from maybe 9.

Pack looked alright but watching NZ here they look very handy and would back them to beat England up front.

Englands backs should be fine with Tompkins and Morris looking top notch.

I think I've seen other bids rejected on here for guys in international squads when it hasn't been £5m - I know I've had to cough up a bit extra before for that reason.

SJE, with bids, I'm happy to help out where I can but would be really useful if when people bid they for a guy from an academy then they say where they are getting him from and if they are bidding on a released player just say where he was in the game previously.

Makes it a lot easier that way.

Thanks for pointing that out - theres just been cases before where people have had bids rejected for guys who have been in int squads.
