Re: England Ratings
Harsh on Cahill and Johnson.
Lenient on Gerrard, Rooney and Sturridge.
But McNulty is a master of writing a lot and saying nothing, so I expected a bunch of 5-7s

I still don't know how Phil McNulty is the BBC's chief football writer, he's absolutely dire.

Re: England Ratings
A 36 year old without a club and severely declining got a future prospects rating of 3.
Do you have to punch Hodgson to get a 0 or something.

Suarez could have bitten Roy's ear off and still got better marks than some of that shower of shizzle!

Re: England Ratings
He did give Rooney a '9' for future prospects, originally, but seems to have downscaled it somewhat.
And he gave Gerrard a five in the same category.

A novel way of rating one's pen!s; I must use it sometime.
