Can I presume that the guy who's the current 6CW World Champion and one half of the Tag Team Champions is over?

Tell the averarge man in the street who Max Adamson is and they wouldn't have a clue. So I googled it:
The Real Max Adamson
Max Adamson.....The Australian Phenom, The Incredible Hunk, The Thunder from Down Under, The Wrestling Wallaby, The Monday/Thursday/Saturday Night Draw, Mr. Australia, The Australian Champion......
And the Mormon Moron.

QOTD: who in 6CW is over?
Now, this isn't a question of who our favourites are or who we like but who do you think is over with the fans and who would be getting the biggest pops when their music hits?

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
Because he is a star beyond wrestling. That is the whole point. It is like if Usain Bolt joined Man U or Brad Pitt tried his hand at UFC. Beforehand the coverage of the event would be huge. Doesn't matter if he falls on his face in his first match. Right NOW he is over.

Fair enough.
I was curious as to which circles he'd be over in. The kids and the like maybe so, but the canny forum dwellers may not be as convinced in my eyes.

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
Those that buy the tickets, but also those who buy the tickets not interested in 6CW but just to see him in his first match. Like when that one direction kid played a match for Doncaster (I think that was the team).
The smarks would grumble (like I said in my promo) but maybe they would like it as well as it gives added exposure to 6CW.

I think Grace would be over with the kids but at the moment most fans would be treating it a bit like when Hugh Jackman was on Raw...I bet the smarks would hate him at first and complain but after a few impressive matches they'd begin to like him (although they might never admit it haha).

For me it would be...
Over as a face with the main stream fans:
Wood, Masters, Harris, Grace, Gazzy
With the kids:
Stallions, Arrows, Bam
Smarks:
Leone, JJ, Hobo
Drawing the most heat right now (due to current story lines):
Max, Costello, Plague

Grace would be over with kids, females and the non wrestling "come to see Grace not 6CW" brigade.
It's all circumstantial anyway. Face gets cheered. Heels get booed. I don't quite think there is a scale for either.

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
Due to Wood's backstory of fighting in the UK indies he'd probably either be loved or hated by the smarks because he's obviously pretty marketable yet he hasn't really attempted to pander to any fans by going all 'John Cena'

I think we're still learning about Cagero, it's not an insult to suggest he's not hated yet but will be the way things are going.

Exactly. That's why in my promo I got Christy to say about non wrestling fans hogging all the tickets and there being complaints on social media from 6CW fans.

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
I see Harris across the board in a way. The kids etc. will cheer him as he's face and is against Mr. Jones. The smarks would appreciate that he's quite technically gifted in the ring like Angle/Bryan.
I try not to play him as a suck up face, apart from Scars and Stripes where he was gunning to get as much support as he could to go up against The Authority.

Not Grace's fault if fans are turned away at the door when The Copper Box reaches capacity. Though he is the cause for extra seats being needed.

I'd say Masters definately caters more to adults than kids. He's a 'Internet darling' just like Ziggler over in the E.

I lean towards Punk now, but that's because you mentioned straight edge. I just immediately make that association.

Evening D to the P
To wade in to the discussion, I wouldn't want to compare 6CW stars to 'real' wrestlers. I think you all have traits that you can pick from current stars but you have very much created individual characters that would no doubt shine in WWE etc
That's what makes 6CW so exciting because all of you would be top tier stars if you were in a real fed, it's a testament to your creativity levels that you can come up with such rounded characters that we all buy into so readily
I think any of you have the skills to be the top face or top heel and with the right storylines you will all continue to get the chance to shine

Diplomat!!
I've never tried to be an existing character in WWE and TNA - but that's because I don't really watch wrestling anymore.

Ditto. My era was the late 80's and early 90's. Silly storylines but larger than life characters.

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
Mine was the attitude era really. I watched up until quite recent but my absolute favourite was The Rock and there's just no way of replicating that in this sort of thing without plagiarising. Of the more recent times, my favourite was probably Punk as he was the only one that made me actually want to watch.
My characters have always had a style that I've tried to make as I've gone along rather than basing it on anything.

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
I grew up watching Undertaker, Hogan, Hart, Yokozuna etc but my interest peaked during the Attitude era although my favourite all time moment was Jericho's debut in WWE
In efedding I know my biggest character is a Brett Hart rip off but I literally wrote the bio in 5 minutes with little or no thought for what I would do next, thankfully the writers had more creativity than me and Lex managed to shake off that bad start

Re: Out of Character Chat v10
My favourite moment was The Undertaker coming back at Judgement Day as The American Badass. I'd missed his stints before that, so to watch this guy come back and take everyone in his path down blew my mind!
I called my character The Saint because at the time I had a career mode on one of the Smackdown games with a wrestler with the same name!
