Destiny Beta

Has anyone played this? I managed to get a code of a friend and it is the most stunning game visually that I have played. The game play is superb and considering this is a beta there were no bugs or lag which is promising for the full game in September.

Yup, I've played it and am really enjoying it. Its really influenced by Halo but that is no bad thing.

I've had a level 8 warlock and just started on a titan level 3 I think.

Have you met any of the ? levelled baddies, its basically an opportunity to run away extremely quickly!

I got a message onscreen tonight to play at 9 on Saturday for some sort of free ship or something for the actual game.

The beta is now open to anyone, you don't need a code for it

Have now played the beta and have to say even though I dislike FPS and was very very sceptical when Bungie said they were doing an MMO. This game from what we have been shown is actually brilliant, I'm really surprised by how well it works and in all honesty it is great fun especially when you have a group of people in your party.

I have played as both the Warlock and Hunter Class since the Titan looks like a typical solider to me and everything but personally prefer the Warlock class over the Hunter. Fantastic Beta and its only the surface of the game which looks like its going to be rather big!

I hadn't preordered this before playing the beta, however now by preorder has been paid for an I can't wait

They opened up the moon level last night which was pretty good, don't know if its still up and running.

Only a week to go until this is released, who's preordered?

I've preordered the limited edition as it includes some DLC, plus the price went down from £90 to £75 on Amazon.

I'm tempted to pre-order due to the gear it gives you.

I've already pre-ordered. Taking Tuesday off work...

So has anyone been playing Destiny this week? What do we all think??

I am enjoying it so far, not had much time to play on it as wife watch to much junk on the TV, the AI seems a lot harder than the beta though.

Yeah the AI is a sneaky swine, soon as you shoot one of the minions they all scurry behind cover.

I finished the story missions last night, disappointed with the final boss battle. It just seemed too easy. The raids are a lot of fun when you've got some decent players.

I'm hoping they open up the universe a bit more, they certainly leave it open for a lot of expansion in the final cut scene.

Apparently they have a 12 year plan for this game...

Been playing on and off now since October, completed all the missions and going through the heroic strikes and online strikes. Really enjoying it, looking forward to the expansion pack in December.

TBH I've drifted off this in the past couple of weeks so I'm considering trading it in whilst its still worth a few pennies for one of the games released atm such as Dragon Age, Halo, COD etc.
