More like a blog than a column due to the views being quite personal as opposed to balanced arguments.
As an opinion piece it was fine as a quick round up of things going on and it's written in a decent journalistic style. Having to filter out his biased opinion on some issues was a bit of a chore though. Good stuff for starting a debate though.
