Its been a great ride but its time to say...........

farewell guys.

I have been a member of 606 v2 since 2011 before that a few of you will recall my time on the old BBC 606 where I joined in 2007 if I'm not mistaken. I have enjoyed discussing the sport of boxing with you guys for a long time. Its a sport I have grown up loving and to be fair the boxing forum has been the only outlet for me to talk about it.

I must say that you guys have been doing the sport of boxing a great service by keeping it alive. Every aspect of the game is covered here from the glorious past to the great names and characters who have graced the sport and I have really enjoyed reading and discussing it with you. 

I will miss you guys here and I can honestly say that I leave with no ill feeling towards anyone. I feel privileged to have known such a great guy such as windy who I will miss even tho I never met him.

I wish you all the best in life for you and you're loved ones

Why oh why do people write these threads. In my experience of forums, which if I'm honest, is far more than it should be, these things are temporary and when the author inevitably returns a few months down the line all they have done is give people a stick to beat them with. If I had a pound for every one of these I had read, or every account I had been asked to delete, only for that person to resurface a few months down the line I would have at least enough to buy something or other of indeterminate value.

However, in the unlikely event this is the last we will see of you, au revoir and all the best.

I feel this will be as short lived as a Floyd Mayweather retirement; coincidentally there will probably be far less talk of him during your time away

As Rowley say's farewell and all the best...any member departing is always sad to see, however I have no doubt you shall re-appear shortly!

Truss being the exception to the rule. All 25 of his farewells have been for real.

Hope to see you again when you've done your time onetwo. I'm all for giving people a second chance and I'm sure you needed the money.

I have made two retirements from here in the past (although I didn't do a thread about it)

The first one was because I didn't feel like I was welcome and the second because I said would retire from here if the Slimester Froch beat Bute

Now as it goes, nothing has changed as I am still not welcome on here and one of Boxing 606s most disliked posters. But now I don't care anymore what they think

I also realised that after Froch scraped past Groves in the first fight and his behaviour afterwards many people turned against him on here and it shows how people can be fickle

So my point is, whatever your reasons for wanting to leave OneTwo...rise above it all and stick with the forum. Don't let them grind you down

Go through them...Run over them!!!

If this Dear John letter could be accompanied by a DAVIDE-esque running commentary on your latest suicide attempt, it would cheer me up. If ONETRUSS (I think you'll find I was the one who made that connection) doesn't fancy online suicide then it would cheer me up if STEFFAN stepped into the breach as he states he doesn't care what people think of him. Shame he's such a twonk, our mutual dislike of Froch could have been the glue that cemented our friendship (or what relationship you can have with someone from Wales that's not out and out disgust)

How this will happen.

Onetwo will return within a few weeks/months
