nobody could box as beautifully as lights out and I include Robinson, Ali, Mayweather and Jones jnr in the mix.

James Toney was not a great champion, great boxer yes but didnt have the dedication to be a great champion

James Toney is from michigan for that reason alone he could run rings round samuel peter, thadzi and griffin.

He'd also obliterate randy couture in a street fight.

He's just a bit forgetful sometimes fingers. If he'd remembered where he was from he'd never have lost every round to that bum from Florida, Roy jones... Or had to pay the judges off to get a decision against the mighty Dave Tiberi.

On my video he calls Hopkins a great fighter.

I don't know for all the crap he talks..........It's nice to get real opinions now and again.....

I love Fat Toney, both as a boxer and for his somewhat individual "opinions". Just wish he'd hang 'em up though.

My favourite quote from him is when he was IBF Super-Middle champ and was interviewed before the Benn-Eubank WBC/WBO unification fight: "I'd kick Eubank and his momma's a$$" Cue an incredulous Eubank going nuts about it. Brilliant.

He also said Nick Diaz of the UFC would knock Roy Jones out in 2-3 rounds. I like Diaz but, come on.

I like Eubank as well as Toney..............He's never dull and say's what he thinks..

Generally, I like characters in life, though often i'll use the word character as a euphemism for pr*ck. For me, Toney walks along that 'character' line teetering from one side to the other.

It might be easier to form a view if i could actually understand a word he said. "***** bum ***??????!!!!! sheeeet ****** bum !!!!!!!!! &&&&& **** &&&&&&&&&&& bum".

The saddest thing about that video is that it appeared in 2011 and compared to how bad Toney's speech is now, he sounds like a peak Ali in that video

I remember on that Behind the Gloves SMW programme Sky did a while back with Collins, Woodhall, Calzaghe, Eubank and Jones Jr, Collins said that in between round on the heavy bag Toney would be drinking a coke. Imagine what he would have been like with dedication. Could have been regarded as highly as Jones.

It's ok Chris I have seen that video before. He made me laugh actually with his retarded level of geography. Just goes to show how thick he really is

What with his dislike of Khan and Fury...Toney clearly seems to have something against England hence he refuses to speak the language they invented in a coherent manner

funny thing is he is widely considered 1 of the greatest defensive fighters of all time but after listening to him speak it suggests he eat a fair more shots then we have been led to believe.

In fairness he's a middleweight who's taken some heavyweight blows.....

He's not a natural heavy.........
