Ospreys' only defeat in their last six Guinness PRO12 matches was 27-30 to Zebre in Parma in round 21 last season.
Ospreys have won their last four games at Liberty Stadium since Munster were the visitors in February.
The Welshmen have lost their last three fixtures against Scottish opponents, but have never lost four in a row to teams north of the border.
Edinburgh's only victory in their last seven fixtures was 14-13 over Munster in Limerick in round 1, the Scotsmen, therefore, are going for successive away victories in the PRO12 for the first time since November 2009.
Edinburgh won on their most recent visit to Wales: 23-19 over Dragons at Rodney Parade in April, and have not won back-to-back games in Wales since September 2009.
The last four encounters between the two sides have all been won by the home team on the day whilst Edinburgh have not been victorious at Liberty Stadium since a 32-30 win on 25th April 2009.

Re: GPro 12 - Ospreys V Edinburgh
That was better from Edinburgh but should have had more than 3 points. Good by Heathcote taking the ball right up to the line

Anyone got a BBC Scotland stream that can be watched outside Scotland? I'm not loving the Welsh commentary

Such basic ruck defending - you know the 9 is going to go for it!

Although the way things are going it may be more productive to just not watch it!

Well you can't say that was not coming. Ospreys are playing some good rugby and are taking their chances.

Sam HC, visser and Leonardi look like the only ones who care. I am getting so frustrated.

Edinburgh not going to win this if they keep giving it away their lineout. Stop throwing it to the back!

"Like taking candy from a bairn" - Peter Wright's commentary is so refreshing and honest.
Re: GPro 12 - Ospreys V Edinburgh
What has happened to the team that really took it to Munster on that first game, there is just nothing there today at all

Well you have to say that was somewhat against the run of play! Edinburgh needed it though, great backing up by Watson!

Solomans needs to give them a real rocket at half time. Why is everything so halfhearted and slow?

On the other hand i'm surprised by the Ospreys form, i thought they could be the worst Welsh side, how wrong i was.

Re: GPro 12 - Ospreys V Edinburgh
Edinburgh started this match with 3 Scottish born players and with just 2 on the bench. 5 out of 22.
So much for playing home bred players.
Laughable really.

Makes no difference to the outcome but that should have been a penalty try

Ok ok ok. I'm a forward. I was told if you are going to tackle someone you run into them. Why is Cuthbert running backwards when trying to tackle????

When your luck is going against you, the decisions will!
Clearly a forward pass.

Great throw by the quarter back and the Swansea wild eagles get the touch down in the corner

If the home crowd are laughing that the ref gave it, you've got to wonder.
This is truly pathetic - a winger bouncing a prop

Don't worry, solomans is "trying to build a club, not a team".
How many more excuses are we going to get?
I feel bad for Leonardi only player who gives a toss

That was very poor by Edinburgh. They look much worse than Dragons yesterday; I thought they were lazy until I seen this.

Just the latest in a long line of gubbings across both the UK and Ireland this season. Anyone else noticing the one-sided nature of the games? It's all attack.
